LG Optimus EX SU880 Released with Tegra 2 Chip- Specs, Price and Availability

LG Optimus EX Phone with NVidia Tegra 2 processor

LG has just officially unveiled its Korea-bound Optimus EX smartphone. The LG Optimus EX runs on Gingerbread and relies on a Tegra 2 chipset with a 1.2GHz Dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It looks sleeky with a thickness is of 9.65mm.

LG Optimus EX is yet to be released in Korea and is designed slimmer in such a manner which makes the handset rather attractive. The handset is available in white and black in colour. It also includes some of the social networking such as Yahoo, Facebook, twitter, Skype and MSN etc.

The 4″ WVGA screen on top will be of the NOVA variety, which has one of the highest brightness levels on the market. The 5 megapixel camera at the back does a 1080p video recording, while the front is a VGA camera for video chatting. LG Optimus EX has also got a accelerometer sensor for the UI auto-rotate and a proximity sensor for auto turn off.

LG Optimus EX has TDMB mobile TV.  Other available features are HDMI port, digital compass, document viewer, adobe flash support, 3.5mm jack etc.  Wide range of suitable video formats available- DivX, Xvid, MP4, H.264, H.263, WMV and audio formats suitable are – MP3, WAV, WMA, eAAC. The LG is also willing to step into the 4G vision

This powerful Smartphone will be available to South Korea’s SK Telecom subscribers. The company hasn’t mentioned the price and any of its unlocked global versions of Optimus EX.
