There is a serious glitch with this phone. Sometimes, after you connect to a phone number, you have to punch in additional numbers (like an extension) to complete the call. But when you try to punch them in, the screen goes dark! I tried this on the floor model in the Verizon store when I took mine in, and the same thing happened. It’s incredibly annoying, and I haven’t seen anything out there about this yet. It’s a deal breaker. I assume Samsung/Verizon will patch this relatively soon, but it’s sort of a disgrace that it shipped like this. Buh-bye, Stratosphere.

I’ve had the same problem, and it’s a pain when you’re asked to “Press 1 for English”, etc., yet you never can because the screen keeps going dark a split-second later! I’ve also noticed the Swype function has some freezing glitches.

Noticed this with mine as well and it;s super annoying. Also, my camera keeps saying “insert memory card” and is not able to be used when this is happening. A day later it’s fine, like it never happened. I am going to have to take it in. Ugh

Same problem here and i’m so sick of it… this us my second phone in a month both with the same problem. can’t even put in my passwords for my voicemail without screen going black. It is a shame to pay this much money for a phone and it function like this straight of the floor. I guess i’m stuck with it now huh??

Im having a problem with my camera/memory card. After I restart the phone, if I try to use the camera it says to insert the memory card. The first time this happened, I just removed the card and put it back in place. Tah Dah it worked fine. This time not so much luck…. Any help???
