Touch Screen

The 6’’ multi-touch paper-like touch screen of the Cybook Orizon is very responsive in nature. Readers can flip, rotate and swipe pages easily with just a faint touch.  It has a readable display but unfortunately it’s not completely glare-free. The 600X800 resolution also maintains texts’ clarity.  The pinch-to-zoom text resizing option is quite refreshing. However, the 400MHz Samsung ARM processor slows the display output occasionally. Occasional smudges can also appear.

Bookeen Cybook Orizon E

Cybook Orizon is one of the slimmest e-book readers of the world. It has nicely designed silver case front, elusive curves at corners and contoured edges. Its minimalistic interface is quite attractive too.

The microSD slot is located at the upper part of it whereas; the USB port is placed at the bottom. Overall, it has a clean and sharp design.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

It has five pre-loaded apps- Bookeen ebook store, Google, Feedbooks, Wikipedia and Project Gutenberg. As per Bookeen, readers can get access to libraries and stores of these sites and all others by using Wi-Fi connectivity within seconds.

However, using Wi-Fi connection via touch screen can a bit difficult. So using other navigation keys for that is always a good idea. Some users, however, complained that the Wi-Fi doesn’t produce the desired result. According to them, it often gets worse while connecting with multiple networks.

It’s available at US $ 240.

So, you can definitely give it a shot but remember it might not be the best available e-book in the market. Checkout the device on the Bookeen Product page.
