Its not like that as Nokia manufacture good devices but only thing which isn’t impressive in their devices is operating system and the cost.

Both the phones are equally good. At the moment Galaxy Nexus is not launched in India. But it will be launched till this month end, I’m expecting the price to be between Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 38,000.

iPhone 4S (over Aircel/Airtel) is highly priced, since you want factory unlocked there are couple of good deals for the 16GB factory unlocked version of iPhone 4S.

Both come in the same price range. Now Galaxy Nexus hardware is somewhat better than iPhone 4S but the benchmarks are not that good. iPhone 4S has got better results of the graphic and CPU benchmarks, again over Android, iOS has got couple of good quality apps. Plus extraordinary camera and Siri.

So if you are considering between these two I’ll suggest you to go with iPhone 4S only if you are getting a cheap deal (Rs. 35,000 is best price for 16GB)

Note that jailbreak for iPhone 4S is not ready yet, it will take time. So for few more months you will have to buy games from the App Store.

Now the decision is yours! 🙂

Are these mobile devices arranged in a chronological order ? Or is the rating based on the overall phone review? If its the latter, then Nokia Lumia 800 doesn’t deserve the last rung.

The order is based upon the user review. As compared to other phones in this list Nokia does get the last position but being Top 10 list, all the phones are equally powerful.

I cannot stop LOLing when Motorola Droid Razr or even a HTC Sensation XE is considered superior to the Nokia Lumia 800, which was named as the mobile of the year apart from numerous other laurels. In fact, I would give the Lumia a +1 over the HTC Titan, though both being Windows Phones. Strange !

          December 27, 2011 at 9:37 AM

Yes, Sensation XE as well as Droid Razr are far better than Lumia in every aspects. Any specific reason for your love with Lumia?

            December 31, 2011 at 1:11 AM

Many ‘specific’ reasons, the primary being a new fresh OS with large lively tiles rather than dull miniscule icons, less fear of malware creeping in (You must be aware of the #droidage!). Ewwwww !!

Over iOS UI, I love the Metro UI of WP7.5 but user interface is not the only thing that will make a phone better than other.

Droid Razr and Sensation XE has better hardware along with apps capable of optimising the hardware with lot of customising options too.

On the other hand WP7.5 is still developing, so if you are looking for value for money surely Android will win over WP7.5.

I agree over the developing part but not the winning part 😀 . Time will tell . .

Just lets not get into much details Asrartheone…Compare specifications listed there and you would yourself realize that Driod is faaar better than Lumia…And to get into details just say one word..Apps!

            December 29, 2011 at 11:05 AM

Gaurav, specifications on paper and specifications on device mean a lot of difference. I have used both Droid and the Lumia, hence I can say.

              December 29, 2011 at 1:46 PM

Even I’ve used both of them and found Droid better than Lumia as for WP7 there is no app which can fully optimise the CPU performance over Android.

              December 29, 2011 at 11:18 PM

But U dint say anything about apps!

                December 31, 2011 at 1:06 AM

Windows Phone is a relatively new platform so ofcourse it’d take time for apps to come up. And with the present pace, very soon it may leave the players back and for large. IBNLive, TOI, BookMyShow are some great just-developed Desi Windows Phone Apps out there. Well the Android market ‘may’ have such a huuuuuuuge number of Apps but quantity cannot be the only measuring factor. Quality also chips in. Of the record, many iPhone users have praised the look, feel and usability of a similar iOS app on WP7.

There’s no denying the fact that ‘Mango’ is sweeter than ‘Apple’ !
