The HP calls the Envy 14 Spectre as the world’s first multi-surface glass notebook with a radiating 14-inch diagonal HD screen with Radiance LED backlit display on a 13.3” chassis. The Radiance backlit-supported keyboard senses the approach of the user and gradually lights up every row. The Multi-touch enabled HP Imagepad allows the user to interact with even three fingers to be precise.

Sporting the second-generation core i5-2467M CPU processor, the HP Envy 14 Spectre has got 4 GB of RAM in the basic version while interested users can upgrade the same to 8 GB. The 128 GB SSD gives immense power to perform at a lightning speed along with the support for Intel Rapid Start Technology. It also features the Beats Audio™ system with 2 high-performance speakers and sub-woofer, ensuring the user gets to hear the best in sound quality. Weighing less than 2 kg (1814 grams) with a thin waistline of 20 mm, the HP Envy 14 Spectre shall be available in the United States at a starting price of US $1,399.99 from February 8th, 2012 with countries like Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom to follow in early March 2012.
