Facebook for iPad Update adds support to Retina Display and Chat Signout

by -

Facebook for iPad app has updated to harness the power of new iPad’s Retina display and received new feature updates like Sign out of chat.

All have already sold millions of new iPad’s powered by the Retina display and Facebook knows very well that how much we all love to check and share pictures on Facebook, this new updated version of app will take your photo viewing experience to a whole new level.

On top of new support for the Retina display, the app also fixes bugs and adds features including:

– You can go offline in chat

– The right profile picture appears for everyone

– Your list of friends always includes all your friends

– In sets of photos, your name is displayed correctly

– Photos of people who like Facebook Pages load correctly

– Your friend-request notification only lights up if you have a request

– You can change your language to Czech, Danish, Greek, Indonesian, Malaysian, Norwegian (Bokmal), Portuguese (Portugal) or Thai

The biggest one of these fixes I like is the ability to sign out of chat. Now, I will start using this app fulltime to use Facebook on iPad.
