Facebook Launches official Photo Sharing app for iOS – Facebook Camera

Right from minor updates to the timeline update, Facebook for iPhone is always providing the users the best mobile social experience. With its official Facebook app, Facebook also has a separate Messenger app and Pages Manager app for iPhone. These apps always made work pretty fast, fluid and easy.

In addition to these apps, Facebook has just launched a new app named ‘Facebook Camera’ for iOS. Already noted by The New York Times, Facebook Camera is a new standalone photos app that is intended to make photo sharing even better on Facebook.

Facebook Camera will allow the Facebook members to upload high resolution photos supporting the resolution up to 2048 x 2048. It even offers the photo filters flavor and allows you to add different filters for the photo which can be chosen from the available fifteen filters.

Facebook press release reports,

“See friend’s photos all in one place – When you launch the app, you’ll see a feed of just great photos from the people you care about. You can swipe to see more of any album or tap to enlarge an individual photo.

Share multiple photos fast – Now you can quickly share multiple photos all at once instead of having to post one at a time. Just select the shots you want to share by tapping the check-mark on each photo and then hit post. You’ll have a chance to add a caption, say where you were and tag friends before you share.

It’s also easy to edit photos with new tools like the ability to crop, rotate and add filters to any picture in your camera roll.”

Facebook Camera offers you to see all your friend’s photos in one place also sharing multiple photos at once is also possible.

Facebook Camera is compatible with, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G. It requires iOS 4.0 or above to run.

Facebook Camera will be listed in the App Store soon, meanwhile check the iTunes Store.
