One con of the phone is that it will support video recording and playback up to 480p@30fps (frames per second) only. The dual SIM version will go on the shelves beginning May and strangely the single SIM will be available by July. The region wise launch schedule is not yet released by Samsung but hopefully Asia and Europe might get it first as they seem to be the target market. No pricing details were made available in the press release by Samsung.

“Offering innovative mobile solutions to enhance the user experience, the GALAXY Core’s smart features provide advanced tools that continue to set the GALAXY series apart. Utilizing human interactions including voice, movement, and optical commands, the GALAXY Core has a wide array of smart features that include Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI and S Voice,” Samsung added in the official release.

A previous leak, in which most of the specifications turned out to be true except the RAM, added that it is expected to launch in Russia and China in mid-May for 320 Euros. We suggest you take this bit with a pinch of salt until Samsung officiates the information.
