Full specifications of Galaxy Note 3 leaked, coming with Android 4.3

Even though the official launch of Galaxy Note 3 is still 20 days away, we have the confirmation of its full specifications. There have been independent confirmations from three different sources regarding different aspects of Galaxy Note 3, but the most reliable and complete one is from SamMobile. According to SamMobile, there will be two different versions of Galaxy Note 3 with model numbers SM-N900 and SM-N9005.

SM-N900 is expected to come with 1.8 GHz Octa-core Exynos 5420 processor and ARM Mali T628 MP6 GPU. The RAM is unconfirmed for this model, and it won’t sport LTE connectivity. The other model SM-N9005 will come with 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, but processor and GPU are unconfirmed for this model. It will come with LTE connectivity support.

Here is a list of specifications common to both variants:

  • 5.68 inch Full HD Super Amoled display
  • 13 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization
  • 16/32/64 GB of storage with Micro SD card expansion up to 64 GB
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS
  • 3200 mAh battery

SamMobile also said that most of the markets will receive the 32 GB model but a few will also get the 64 GB model as well. In another related report by Phone Arena, it was said that the battery of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be of 3450 mAh capacity, which is an 11% improvement over the 3100 mAh of Galaxy Note 2. Given the reliability and track record of Sam Mobile, we are more inclined to follow their report over the Phone Arena. It is safe to say for now that Galaxy Note 3 will come with 3200 mAh battery.

One thing that is absolutely confirmed is that Galaxy Note 3 will come with Android 4.3, which is the latest Android version. Given the official launch date of September 4 in IFA, Berlin, it will most probably be the first non-Nexus device to come with the latest version of Jelly Bean. The confirmation of Android 4.3 was also revealed in DLNA certification, although the model number SM-N900S was surprisingly different from that revealed by Sam Mobile above. We will keep an eye out for more information and will keep you posted.
