TV Shows, Movies and More Using Voice Search In Microsoft Bing and Kinect


Microsoft today unleashed the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) by providing the quick and easy feature, to finding the entertainment on XBox 360. Microsoft announced a new streaming TV implementation for the Xbox 360 today. By using this service, you can find your favorite games, music, movies and TV shows, just with the sound of your voice.

This can be achieved using voice search with Bing on Xbox 360. Bing on Xbox searches Netflix, Hulu Plus and ESPN, as well as music, video and Xbox LIVE Marketplace, to find exactly the entertainment user wants to enjoy. With Bing on Xbox and Kinect for Xbox 360, you can easily find the games, movies, TV shows, sports and music you want. This will help the growth and innovation for Microsoft’s business leveraging technologies. Microsoft is bringing together the Kinect for Xbox 360 and the Bing search engine in this year (2011).

Microsoft has joined with many TV operators since 2009 to bring live television to Xbox LIVE in the United Kingdom with Sky TV, in France with Canal+ and in Australia with FOXTEL. Now, Microsoft has announced expanded access to live TV programming on Xbox 360 to more providers in the United States and around the world in near future. Microsoft is joining up with UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) to feature classic fights, live matches, interviews and behind the scenes, which glances into the lives of the popular fighters, and access the octagon through Xbox 360.

Microsoft is building on its expandable category of thousands of movies and TV shows available on demand, from major TV operators by teaming up YouTube to Xbox 360 you can control YouTube videos just by using voice search.

However, Xbox 360 brings together the entertainment you want, whether its movies, TV shows, music, sports, or your favorite games, available instantly with the command of your voice through Bing on Xbox 360 and Kinect.
