All the four new gaming peripherals are expected to hit the Indian market by December, and looking at the price versus features, we expect they should sell quite well. Stay tuned for our reviews of these new Vengeance keyboards and mice.
Interestingly, Corsair also seems to have dropped prices for two of its Vengeance gaming headsets, with the Vengeance 1300 now bearing a MRP of Rs. 3,000, and Vengeance 1500 a MRP of Rs. 4,000.
The Vengeance K90 keyboard has three banks of 18 macro keys (i.e., 54 individual programmable keys), along with macro record and bank select hot-keys, stored on 36KB of onboard storage. It also contains the standard multimedia keys, along with a weighted metal drum roller for volume adjustment. The K90 also features a Windows Lock key to ensure uninterrupted game play. It has a 2 meter non-tangle cable, with USB pass-through connector giving easy access to a USB port on the back of the keyboard, and featuring gold plated contacts. It has a selectable report rate, from 1000Hz to 125Hz, or roughly 1ms to 8ms of response time.
The K90 keyboard has a professional grade brushed aluminium chassis with backlit, laser-etched keys, featuring four illumination levels that are adjustable directly from the keyboard. Featuring Cherry MX Red mechanical switches, the Vengeance K90 keyboard promises fast, efficient gaming action. The keys have 45 grams actuation force, with travel of 2mm for actuation, and 4mm to the bottom. Each key is rated for 50 million operations.
The new Vengeance K90 keyboard has adjustable rear and front feet tilt for optimum personalization and positioning. It also has a metal-top plate for increased durability. The keyboard also features full key matrix anti-ghosting, to prevent incorrect input even while pressing multiple keys – up to a 20 Key Roll-over (20KRO) on USB.
