After entering in Phone market few years ago, Google is now planning to enter in tablet market. Though after seeing the trends of this 2 years old market, no tablet other than Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire would be able to create a successful buzz in the market.
Apple iPad because its the first one and have Apple logo on its back and Amazon Kindle because of its price tag of $199 with many free integrated Amazon Services in it.
There is no doubt that Google will launch Nexus Tablet with Android 4.0 ICS in it but till now, not a single Android based tablet is able to achieve the mark where it can be called as a successful one.
So, to make its tablet a hit in the market, Google needs to take steps very carefully. And the first and foremost question is: How much will it sell for?
According to the previous assumptions, Google-branded tablet will go on sale with price between $199 to $249. But a new report suggests the it might even go lower than that and could be priced somewhere between $149 to $199.
Here’s what we knows about the rumored tablet so far:
- The tablet may be named as “Google Nexus Tablet”.
- Comes preloaded with Android 4.0 ICS.
- Google is looking for a cheaper tablet over the quad core Tegra 3 processor, which was rumored to use in the tablet. The nexus tablet might use a snapdragon processor manufactured by Qualcomm.
- The Nexus tablet might arrive at the CTIA wireless convention May 8 to 10 in New Orleans.
Let’s see will this tablet able to improve the condition of Android tablets in the market or not, as Windows 8 tablet will also come in market by the end of this year, tough competition is waiting ahead.
