How to delete all songs at once from iPhone

If you are using an iOS device then you must be concerned with the storage of your device. Yes, it is little difficult to manage the space on an iPhone. But it’s not too difficult to make space in a short time. For instance, it is on the go for an iPhone user to delete all the songs on the device. Phone storage may not be the only reason for one to delete songs. You may want to delete all the songs just to make space for your new music interests. Let’s see how you can do that.

Step 1: Go to settings. First, tap on the “Settings”. It is an inbuilt app on your iPhone. We are familiar with this one.

Step 2: Tap on General. Clicking on Settings will display you the overall list of different settings. You will see “General” on the list. Tap on it.

Step 3: Storage and iCloud usage. General will display another list of settings for your iPhone. You will see an option of “Storage & iCloud usage” in the list. This option will be displayed as “Usage” on iOS8 or previous versions of iOS. Tap on this option.

Step 4: Manage storage. You will see an option of “Manage Storage” in this section. Tap on it to open.

Step 5: Select Music. Manage Storage will display you all the applications in a list, which are holding storage of any kind on your iPhone. Look out for “Music” in the list and tap on it.

Step 6: Tap Edit. Tapping on Music, you will see the list of the songs you have on your device. There is an option of “Edit”. Locate it at the top right of your screen. Tap on it.

Step 7: Delete all songs. You will see a red circle indicating a minus symbol at the left of each song. That is a “Delete” button. But the very first row will indicate the total storage of all these songs. To delete all these songs at once, just tap on the delete button of the 1st row. It will delete all the songs appearing on the list at once.

You can also delete particular songs from the list if you go by the list and delete songs as you wish to delete. Remember that deleting songs cannot be undone. Once you have deleted the songs, it’s gone. So, that’s how you can delete all the songs at once from your iPhone. That will free up more space on your device to allow you to store more.
