Apple has scheduled a Special Event on 23rd of October at San Jose, California. Where it will be announcing a new product, along with refreshing few old.
As we know, the eye-candy product everyone is looking from the event is the iPad Mini. With the announcement of iPad Mini, few old Apple products are also going to be refreshed alongside.
iPad mini will be a small sized iPad 2, which is expected to feature the same CPU, RAM and resolution of iPad 2. This 7.85-inch tablet will be announced on 23rd October and is expected to go on sale on 2nd November. It is reported that the price will be $329.
Along with iPad mini, the always expected 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is also going to land in the event.
This 13-inch MacBook will be having similar form factor and nearly same specs like the 15-inch Retina Display version. It is reported that, this 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display will get a price tag of $1,699 for the low end model. The higher end model will be priced $200 – $300 more.
The full sized iPad (The new iPad or iPad 3) is also going to be refreshed. This refreshed iPad will be a tweaked version which will include new lightning connector and global LTE support like iPhone 5.
In addition to this, it is also expected that Apple is going to refresh the existing iMac’s and Mac Mini’s on Tuesday. The iMac’s are rumored to get a new design that resembles a water droplet and a slim form factor. The Mac Mini will get new specs which includes, better CPU, more RAM and USB 3.0 ports.
Report says, new iMac and Mac Mini will either get the same price tag as the current or will be priced somewhere close to it. All the machines which includes, 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, new iMac and Mac Mini will go on sale the next moment after the announcement.
