Steve Jobs, an innovator of today’s technology who passed away last year had great influence on the people. After he passed away, his biography was released which sold more than two million copies and was regarded as Amazon’s best selling book of 2011.
With this, back in October 2011 Sony Pictures Entertainment announced that they will be filming a Steve Jobs movie. Sony Pictures Entertainment is already working on the movie and looking after cast, crew and writers.
Sony Pictures Entertainment on Wednesday said that ‘Aaron Sorkin’ will be writing the script for the movie Steve Jobs. Aaron Sorkin is the Academy Award winning screenwriter behind the movies ‘The Social Network’ to ‘Moneyball’ and very well-known for his work.
According to Sony, he will be adapting the ‘Steve Jobs Biography – by Walter Isaacson’ for the upcoming movie. Steve Jobs movie project will be produced under Mark Gordon, Scott Rudin, and Guymon Casady.
Sony Pictures co-chair Amy Pascal said at the release,
Steve Jobs’ story is unique: He was one of the most revolutionary and influential men not just of our time but of all time. There is no writer working in Hollywood today who is more capable of capturing such an extraordinary life for the screen than Aaron Sorkin; in his hands, we’re confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing
Ashton Kutcher will be playing Steve Jobs in his young age for the film. Dressed in typical Steve Jobs style, Ashton Kutcher was spotted in a picture recently.
This biopic will be titled “Jobs: Get Inspired” and Directed by ‘Swing Vote’ helmer Joshua Michael Stern. From his early days of 1970s to the days just before the iPhone 4S release of last year, this bio pic will showcase every moment of Steve Jobs life.
Some rumors on the internet claims that this Steve Jobs movie will be filmed in the same garage where Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak established Apple Computers.
