Nokia has launched the world’s most advanced camera phone till now, the Nokia Lumia 1020. The Smartphone has a 4.5 inch 1280×768 pixel AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display with Super Touch Sensitivity and PureMotion HD+. The Smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage (non-expandable) and 7 GB free SkyDrive Cloud Storage from Microsoft.
The stunning feature is the presence of 41 MP BSI sensor camera with Xenon flash for photography and LED auto assist flash for video recording . The camera has f/2.2 aperture and a second generation Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It also features a 1.2 MP front facing HD camera and a 2000 mAh battery to power the device. The phone runs on Windows Phone 8 “Amber” version with a lot of camera centric features including Nokia Pro Camera for taking professional quality images.
Nokia says that the camera can capture “more details than the eye can see” and “is able to produce some of the sharpest images possible by any digital camera.” The 41 MP camera, which features Carl Zeiss optics, is armed with six physical lenses and the capability to take images in low light conditions. It also has a feature called dual capture, which allows it to simultaneously take high res 38 MP image for editing and a 5 MP image for sharing on social networks. It also allows 34 MP wide angle images and 38 MP images in 4:3 aspect ratio.
Nokia Lumia 1020 is capable of Full HD video recording with excellent audio capture and video capture with OIS. Nokia Pro Camera also allows users to change ISO, white balance, shutter speed and many other granular capture controls. It also has Dolby Headphone 5.1 channel experience for premium sound quality. The Smartphone weighs 158 grams and is 10.8 mm thick.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is expected to be launched first in China and key European markets this quarter. The Smartphone will be available in Yellow, Black and White colors. An exclusive variant of the device will also be launched in association with Telefonica in selected European and Latin American markets. Accessories available to purchase separately include a camera grip and a wireless charging back panel. The pricing details have not yet been unveiled by Nokia. Nokia also said that Nokia Pro Camera will also be released as a software update to its Nokia Lumia 920, 925 and 928 Smartphones.
