After the Nokia Lumia 800, the buzz shifted towards the next launch of the day at Nokia World and that was the Nokia Lumia 710 running on the Windows Phone Mango OS (can somebody guess the reason behind the name ‘Lumia’ ?).
The Nokia Lumia 710 is comparitively cheap and more affordable when compared to its big brother, the Nokia Lumia 800. Talking about it’s features, the Nokia Lumia 710 does pack quite a punch at this price and looks pretty sweet and sharp.
With a beaming 3.7-inch display, this device runs on a 1.4GHz processor while being supported in the background tasks by 512MB of internal memory. The back-cover of this mobile phone has got a fine 5MP camera along with 8GB of internal storage which is a pretty decent feature given its affordability.
Coming to multimedia, the Nokia Lumia 710 has got all of it, i.e. Wi-Fi, Bluetooh 2.1, and A-GPS and more plus Nokia Drive. It’s1300mAh battery ensures that users can enjoy a talktime of 6.9 long hours.
Being manufactured in hard plastic, its body comes in both sweet white and haute black colors while there is a small spectrum of colorful (and swappable) rear covers to choose from — black, white, cyan, fuchsia, and yellow. For detailed specefications, visit its page on Nokia.com.
Priced at around US $375, the Nokia Lumia 710 shall be first available in Asia (India, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan) and then other countries follow [still no information about a US release]. At this price, the Nokia Lumia 710 smartphone is definitely worth it.
