A few weeks before Samsung announce its rugged variant Galaxy S4 Active, the press render of the Smartphone has leaked online. The image features an AT&T version of the Smartphone featuring the US AT&T branding. The look and design of both the international version and AT&T version are expected to look identical. The Smartphone is expected to be released on June 20 Samsung event in London as evident from the date on the phone for press render (June 21).
The phone looks like a better built phone than the previous Smartphones by the Korean giant, and it might be the eventual answer for a better built phone by Samsung. It will be a rugged offering which might offer same or near about ruggedness certification as Sony Xperia rugged Smartphones. We expect it to be at least water resistant and dust resistant. The render was leaked by TheUnlockr.com evleaks.
As per previous rumors, the Smartphone will come with an 5 inch Full HD display and will be powered by a 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad core processor, 16 GB internal storage, Micro SD card slot for memory expansion, 8 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front facing camera. It will be powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The press render is also saying that it will launch under AT&T with model number SGH-I537 and will come in dark gray as well as teal colors. From the press render, it can be seen that the only difference between Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Active so far appears to be the outside durability and ruggedness and downgraded 8 MP sensor.
