With the line of Windows Phones entering the market, Samsung has come up with another Windows Phone. This one is known as Samsung Omnia M which seems to be the younger sibling of Samsung Omnia W. The Samsung Omnia M will target the mid-ranged users. It will give tough fight to Nokia’s budget Windows Phone i.e. Nokia Lumia 610. Samsung Omnia M is powered by a processor of 1 GHz and 384 MB of RAM. It has got a Super AMOLED Display of 4” inches. This is bigger than the Samsung Omnia W. Samsung Omnia M will offer just 4 GB of storage. You won’t be able to expand the storage via any card slot.
Samsung Omnia M has got a primary camera of 5 Mega pixels with a LED flash which is meant for casual photography and regular video recording. You won’t be able to record any kind of HD videos with this camera. A secondary camera also comes along with the phone which will allow you to video chat over the 3G network.
Samsung announced that Samsung Omnia M will run Windows Phone 7.5 Tango OS which is the cut-short version of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. The amount of RAM present in Samsung Omnia M is more than enough for Windows Phone 7.5 Tango OS.
The Phone will first reach the European markets and then it will move on across other parts of the globe later this year. No word on price of the Samsung Omnia M yet. Samsung hides its intentions behind the launch of this phone. According to us, Samsung is trying to make things tough for Nokia as Nokia 610 is all set to hit the global markets.
