I just come to know about this new startup, called as Shitter, which will turn your tweet stream into four rolls of toilet paper just for $35. The homepage tagline reads, “Social media has never been so disposable.”
Unlike the others, who mainly start with US only, they are shipping the Tweet printed toilet papers all over the world. To use their service, you just need to login with your twitter account on their website and you can customize your toilet paper rolls with the help of various simple options available there.
The site is credited to four developers, one from New York, one from Sydney, one from Toronto, and the Johnny Mair (Location not found). The four of them make up Collector’s Editon, a new breed entertainment company that seems to craft clever web sites and services. Previously the group launched a site dedicated to explaining the meaning of the word “Mate” (a Down Under version of the seminal “dude” commercials).
When you really think about it, $35 is cheap for a product that’s nearly performance art in its simultaneous embrace and mocking of our social media obsessed world.
Are you going to order few for yourself?
