BeBook Live – Another Android tablet

Another Android Tablet has appeared in this world – named as BeBook Live. Ever heard of a company named BeBook company? Well, they are the ebook reader makers and now have appeared with another reader, probably a tablet called as BeBook Live.

BeBook Live is a 7inch tablet having multitouch capacitive touch screen display, same as that of the first generation SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab, 1GHz Samsung ARM Cortex-A processor based on 512MB’s of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal memory plus microSD card slot for additional expansion. Connected with WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth to the world.

Yes, it does comes with a front facing 2mp camera just for sake of name, that camera is nothing worth snapping a pic do ignore it. Additional connectivity features include microUSB and HDMI 1080p output, providing better output on HDTV.

Did you say “Honeycomb”?, Well, no you go wrong there. This tablet isn’t powered by the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) instead its powered by the “Froyo” (Android 2.2). That’s what we are still wondering! Having a decent hardware is fine, but the operating system just won’t make out good from it.

Its just nothing, if you look at the specs, but yes, tablet look smart enough. You wouldn’t use the tablet once you buy it, it will be just like your old phone kept idle in your cupboard.

BeBook Live is going to be released in coming June 2011 – will anybody even buy that? As during the same period Honeycomb powered tablets with better performance will arrive? Your guess is as good as mine.
