BlackBerry A10 which was dubbed as Aristo has leaked before, but this time it is accompanied by new images, video and complete specifications. BlackBerry A10 will be the company’s attempt in the 5 inch screen Smartphone race. It will be a 5 inch OLED 720p all-touch device with dual core Snapdragon processor and 2 GB RAM, said Crackberry.
The specifications are different from what was leaked last time which indicated that it would come with 4.65 inch Super Amoled 1080p display, 1.9 GHz quad core Snapdragon processor, 3000mAh battery and 2 GB RAM. The expected date for release is November, just before the holiday season.
Another image from a support tutorial indicated that it will come with Aluminium chassis and a removable battery with a back cover. The SIM card slot and the memory card slot are on the side. Despite this, all other ports and buttons are on their familiar locations. It is expected to be running on BlackBerry 10.2 OS version. It will be a relief for many Berry lovers to know that their favorite Smartphone will come with a removable battery and a 5 inch screen.
Smartphone accessory maker Vivix also released a video on YouTube that appear to match the description of unofficial BlackBerry A10 Aristo:
The video also confirms the same 5 inch touchscreen with a 8 MP rear camera and a quad core GPU for gaming. The device seems very similar to the one whose image was posted by BGR last week.
CNET has previously reported that A10 would be launched on Sprint Nextel in US in November. We had earlier reported in April that 5 inch BlackBerry phablet could launch by year end. It seems like the report carried some weight after all. BlackBerry A10 Aristo is expected to succeed the BlackBerry Z10 all-touch Smartphone which was the first phone to be released with BlackBerry 10 OS.
