Overview

Supplier records can link documents, contracts, compliance, sourcing activity and savings, with status and risk indicators visible alongside them. That shared record gives lean teams a useful way to follow supplier work across connected processes. The main compromise is modular pricing: the free plan includes the core modules, while particular workflow tools require a paid module plan.

The platform supports 18 languages, and each user can select their own. Optional onboarding and training are free, and a help-centre knowledge base is available for ongoing support.

Key features

Suppliers and sourcing

Supplier management includes onboarding, qualification workflows, document expiry alerts, performance scorecards and a supplier portal. This breadth is relevant to teams that need to track supplier relationships beyond a basic contact list. Sourcing supports RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, with assigned reviewers and weighted supplier scoring. Reusable and custom RFX templates, questionnaires and weighted scoring are included in Sourcing Plus, so teams that depend on structured evaluations should account for its extra monthly cost.

Contracts and savings

The searchable contract repository tracks key dates and notice periods, with automated alerts, approvals and audit history. Contract Plus adds linked contract documentation, custom notifications, approvals, custom fields and tabs. Teams that need those controls should compare the add-on against their workflow needs; the core contract module may be enough for teams focused on central storage and date tracking.

Savings management follows initiatives through owners, milestones and forecasts to validation and realisation. Savings Plus adds unlimited milestones, document attachments, approvals and custom fields and tabs. That plan is the more relevant choice for teams managing a larger or more documented portfolio of savings initiatives.

Connections and access

Zapier connects oboloo to more than 8,000 apps, including Salesforce, Xero, QuickBooks, Slack, Teams and ChatGPT. Its API supports read and write access for supplier, contract, sourcing and savings data, plus real-time event notifications. API keys are scoped to organisation permissions; role-based access controls and two-factor authentication are also supported.

Pricing

The 14-day trial provides access to advanced features, then automatically continues on the Free Forever plan. That plan is billed per user, per month, includes all four core modules and unlimited users, and has no card requirement or expiry. A continuing free option makes it practical to start without a paid commitment, though teams needing specific add-on capabilities will need a separate plan.

Contract Plus: 10.00 USD per month, billed per month. Includes the free plan, linked contract documentation, custom notifications, approvals, custom fields and tabs. It suits teams that need more contract workflow controls.
Savings Plus: 20.00 USD per month, billed per month. Includes the free plan, unlimited milestones, document attachments, approvals, custom fields and tabs. It fits teams that need more detail and workflow around savings initiatives.
Sourcing Plus: 25.00 USD per month, billed per month. Includes the free plan, reusable and custom RFX templates, questionnaires, weighted scoring and custom fields. It is the relevant upgrade for structured supplier comparisons.
Supplier Plus: 28.00 USD per month, billed per month. Includes the free plan, supplier compliance, onboarding, documentation requests, custom fields and tabs. It suits teams that need those supplier processes and records.

Each Plus plan is a separate module add-on, so costs can accumulate if a team needs capabilities across several modules. The Free Forever plan keeps the four-module core available without an expiry, but the paid plans are where several specific workflow features sit.

Platforms

oboloo is available on the web and through an API. The API's read/write access and real-time event notifications make it relevant for teams connecting procurement data to other systems.

Who it's for

oboloo is a strong fit for SMEs, charities and lean teams that want supplier records, sourcing, contracts and savings in one platform, especially if the free core covers their needs. It is less compelling for buyers who require several advanced module capabilities but want them bundled into one predictable plan: each relevant Plus option is priced separately.

Pros and cons

Pros: All four core modules are included in a continuing free plan with unlimited users, no card requirement and no expiry.
Pros: Supplier records connect documents, compliance, contracts, sourcing and savings, helping teams keep related work together.
Pros: Integrations through Zapier, API access, 18 languages, and free optional onboarding and training support varied teams and workflows.
Cons: Capabilities such as weighted sourcing scores, contract approvals and additional savings workflow tools require separate monthly module plans.
Cons: Teams needing features across multiple modules may face cumulative add-on costs rather than one bundled upgrade.

Alternatives

For a broader starting point, browse Supplier Management Software.

Qeluntra is a freemium web option with a free plan limited to 1 entity and 1 power user; consider it if those limits suit a smaller operation.
Epicor Kinetic is a paid option spanning web, mobile, Windows and self-hosted platforms, with platform core, cloud package, concurrent user licences and industry bundles; consider it if those deployment and package choices are a better fit.
Tradogram is paid, has a free trial but no free plan, and its Essentials plan costs 99.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 1+ users with additional user fees; compare it if a paid procurement option with a published monthly entry price is preferable.
Zoho Procurement is paid and offers a free trial; its Premium plan is 35.00 USD per year, billed per user/month and billed annually, with 50 requester licences per purchased user licence, basic approval workflows and basic audit trails. Consider it if those licence terms and workflows fit better.
GEP SMART Contract Management is a paid option available on Android, iOS and web.
Supplios is a paid, API, self-hosted and web option with a Basic plan starting at 1000.00 USD per month, including core SRM plus one module and unlimited supplier users; consider it if that package and supplier-user allowance suit your needs.
Ivalua Contract Management is an enterprise contract lifecycle management option with custom pricing; consider it if enterprise CLM is the priority.
Market Dojo is a freemium web and API option.

Verdict

Choose oboloo if you are an SME, charity or lean team that wants four connected procurement modules and can make good use of its continuing free core. The combination is its clearest advantage. Look elsewhere if your workflow depends on several advanced capabilities and you need them bundled rather than purchased through separate monthly add-ons.
