Overview

Sprad is a web-based workspace for recruiting and employee development. It is best suited to teams that want hiring and internal growth to draw on shared talent profiles, rather than operate as separate processes.

Its appeal is breadth: Atlas supports candidate search and assessment, while Growth covers performance and career development. The free recruiting core is substantial, but web-wide sourcing requires membership and AI actions use credits.

Key features

Shared Talent Base: Living profiles can be kept current by the people they describe, then read and enriched across Sprad’s modules. That continuity may help teams carry useful profile information from recruitment into employee development; it is less compelling if a company only needs a standalone ATS.
Atlas hiring: Atlas searches profiles, drafts outreach, screens applicants, conducts voice interviews and ranks candidates against role criteria. These tools can reduce repetitive preparation and assessment work, but AI is an assistant rather than an autonomous decision-maker: Sprad says people make decisions and it does not automate rejections.
Growth tools: Performance reviews, 360° feedback, 1:1 meetings, career paths, skills, surveys and OKR tracking extend the product beyond hiring. This breadth suits employers connecting recruitment with employee development, though recruiting teams that do not need HR growth workflows may find it unnecessary.
Messaging and referrals: Referrals and screening can use WhatsApp, SMS and phone calls without requiring a login, app or email address. That can lower participation friction for candidates and employees.
Evidence and privacy: Ratings link to supporting evidence, and people can release profile data item by item and withdraw access. Sprad says candidate data is not used to train AI models and that it does not scrape or sell people's data.
Integrations: Sprad lists softgarden, Greenhouse, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Personio, HiBob, Lever, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Teamtailor, Ashby, JOIN and d.vinci, with data flowing both ways. That range may suit teams keeping an existing HR or recruiting system in place.
Security: Sprad says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the EU on independently certified infrastructure, and designed for GDPR and EU AI Act requirements. Those controls matter to organizations weighing sensitive employee and candidate data.

Pricing

Sprad uses a freemium model, with both free components and paid modules. The free ATS Core is billed €0 forever and includes a career site and Google for Jobs, pipeline and candidate management, team, roles and analytics, and an MCP / AI connection. The free Living Talent Pool includes living candidate profiles and pool management. Atlas Hiring — Free forever is billed at no cost and provides 200 credits every month, 300 in the first month, with no card or term; it includes a recruiting CRM and talent pool, unlimited roles and pipeline, plain-language search in its own base, a candidate portal and the whole team. These free options make it possible to cover basic role, pipeline, pool and search needs, but do not remove the credit cost of AI actions or the membership requirement for web-wide sourcing.

Paid modules are priced by use or scope: CV & skills screening is 0.10 EUR per month, billed €0.10/screening, for AI application screening against role criteria and scored results. AI voice interview is 6.00 EUR per month, billed €6/interview. Active Sourcing is 300.00 EUR per month, billed from €300/mo, for automated candidate sourcing. Referral is 99.00 EUR per month, billed from €99/mo, for employee referral workflows. These modules let teams pay for specific capabilities, but screening and interviews scale with activity and sourcing is a larger recurring commitment.

Sprad HR platform + Atlas AI Agent is 5.00 EUR per month, billed +€5/employee, and includes talent management and the Atlas AI Agent. This is the relevant option for employers extending beyond recruiting, with per-employee pricing to consider as the workforce grows.

Several plans have custom pricing. Referrals Start is for up to 300 employees and includes unlimited referrals, 10+ ATS integrations and email, Teams, WhatsApp, SMS and Slack. Referrals Core supports up to 1,000 employees, unlimited referrals, a dedicated account manager, three onboarding workshops and major ATS integrations. Referrals Enterprise adds unlimited employees and referrals, additional entities, advanced role and permission management, and enterprise onboarding. Atlas Base Max is custom pricing with 65,000 credits on day one, monthly or quarterly credit packages, 30% off every credit, project-scoped recruiter roles, Talent Base Live for 500 profiles, a named contact and onboarding workshop. The tiered referral plans distinguish organizations by employee count and support needs; Atlas Base Max is aimed at teams needing a larger credit package and implementation support. Sprad says expert coaching is included and customers can be live in under three hours; higher plans include named contacts or onboarding workshops.

Platforms

Sprad is available on the web. Its messaging workflows can reach people through WhatsApp, SMS and phone calls without requiring a login, app or email address.

Who it's for

Sprad lists recruiting teams, recruitment agencies and companies using employee referrals or employee growth tools among its audiences. It is strongest for organizations that want shared profiles across recruiting and employee development, or that need referral and screening workflows across familiar messaging channels. Teams seeking only a basic ATS can start with the free core; those needing web-wide sourcing should expect a paid membership, and credit-based AI actions may matter to teams with high screening or interview volume.

Pros and cons

Pro: The shared Talent Base connects hiring and employee development, giving teams a reason to maintain profiles beyond an individual recruitment cycle.
Pro: The free core includes unlimited roles, pipeline, pool and search, making it useful for basic recruiting without a software fee.
Pro: Human decision-making, evidence-linked ratings and item-by-item profile permissions provide meaningful oversight and control for sensitive talent decisions.
Con: Web-wide sourcing requires membership, so the free search capability is limited to the team's own base.
Con: AI actions use credits, and screening and voice interviews are separately priced per action; costs can rise with hiring volume.
Con: Growth and talent-management breadth may be excess overhead for teams that need only applicant tracking.

Alternatives

For a broad directory of recruiting assistants, browse AI Recruiting Assistants. Teams focused on referrals can compare the Employee Referral Software category, while teams prioritizing external candidate discovery can browse Candidate Sourcing Software.

HireMIQ is worth considering for a free tool centered on job-description analysis and AI modules: its free plan includes five JD analyses per month, Boolean search, candidate scoring, outreach templates and assessments.
Pin may fit a solo recruiter who wants a browser extension and email sequences; its free plan is limited to five contact lookup credits per week, one job position, one AI Agent and email-only sequences.
Metaview is an alternative for teams comparing per-user sourcing plans: Pro is 100.00 USD per month per user with 200 profiles sourced per month and unlimited concurrent searches.
Avery is an option for searching vetted European profiles, with ranked matches and a market view on its free plan; that plan excludes outreach and contact details.
Hirin is another recruiting platform to consider.
Talview may suit buyers who prefer unit-based tailored pricing and can meet its typical minimum commitment of approximately 150 to 200 candidates.
Screened offers a paid resume plan with up to five jobs, 1,000 candidates per month and three team members; its listed annual-billing price is 66.00 USD per month, while month-to-month is $99/month.
CandiSift is an open-source, self-hosted option with no software fee stated, though LLM processing can incur per-token costs.

Verdict

Sprad is a strong fit for recruiting teams and employers that want a shared talent foundation for hiring, referrals and employee development. Its free core lowers the barrier to basic recruiting, while human oversight and profile controls help keep AI assistance bounded. Look elsewhere if you need only a lean ATS, or if web-wide sourcing and frequent credit-based AI actions make the added costs hard to justify.
