Overview

Code completion and chat are only part of Agentforce Vibes: it also includes a coding agent, codebase indexing, terminal access, scheduled runs, human approvals, and web browsing. That mix suits developers who want an assistant to work with project context and support more than one-off suggestions. Readers looking only for autocomplete may find the broader agent-oriented offering unnecessary.

Key features

Codebase indexing, terminal access, and web browsing give the coding agent several ways to work with a project and its surrounding context. Scheduled runs can support recurring tasks, while human approvals add a review point to automated work. These are meaningful capabilities for developers who want both automation and oversight, though the feature list alone does not establish how well the agent handles a particular codebase.

Users can choose Agentforce Vibes IDE or Visual Studio Code. Supporting both is useful for developers who want a dedicated environment as well as those who prefer to stay in VS Code. Web, iOS, and Android are also supported, although the core features make this primarily a developer tool.

Pricing

Salesforce Foundations costs 0.00 USD per free and includes Agentforce Vibes. It provides a no-cost way to start, but the paid plans are the options with stated credit or usage terms.

Flex Credits costs 500.00 USD per month for 100,000 credits. This suits teams or individuals who prefer a defined monthly allowance; the credit pool makes usage a consideration rather than providing a flat-fee structure.

Flat Fee Access costs 125.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It includes multiple AI models, flat-fee usage, and a predictable monthly cost. That structure is the clearer fit for users who value predictable spend over a fixed credit allotment. The free plan is the lower-cost starting point, while Flex Credits and Flat Fee Access serve different preferences for managing paid use.

Platforms

Agentforce Vibes supports web, iOS, and Android, and its listed IDE options are Agentforce Vibes IDE and Visual Studio Code. The IDE choice is particularly relevant to developers selecting a daily coding workflow; mobile and web support broaden platform access.

Who it's for

Choose Agentforce Vibes if you want code completion and chat alongside a coding agent that can use indexed codebase context, terminal access, and web browsing. Scheduled runs and human approvals make it more compelling for workflows that need recurring activity with a human checkpoint. If your needs stop at code suggestions, a narrower tool may be a better fit.

Pros and cons

Pros: Code completion, chat, an agent, codebase indexing, terminal access, and web browsing bring several forms of coding assistance together.
Pros: Scheduled runs with human approvals pair automation with an oversight step.
Pros: A free plan and two paid pricing structures let users start without a subscription and later choose between credits and flat-fee usage.
Cons: Flex Credits costs 500.00 USD per month for 100,000 credits, so it is less suitable for users who want a lower fixed monthly commitment.
Cons: The broad agent feature set may be more than needed for developers who only want code completion or chat.

Alternatives

For a product focused on configuring and quoting, Configure to WIN has a free plan for up to 2 users, but it excludes approval submission and document generation. Consider it when those limits fit your quoting needs rather than when you want a coding assistant.

Epicor Kinetic is a paid option with cloud packages, platform cores, concurrent-user licenses, and industry bundles; choose it if that configurable business-software approach suits your needs better.

Experlogix CPQ is a paid CPQ alternative with a free trial and a demo request. Kugamon is another paid CPQ option, with a free trial and a 10-user minimum on its CPQ plan.

camos CPQ 365 offers cloud or on-premise deployment with custom pricing. Vendavo CPQ is a paid alternative with a demo request. Configure One is a paid cloud option with pricing available by contact. PROS Configure Price Quote is a paid alternative with pricing available through sales.

Verdict

Agentforce Vibes is best for developers who want project-aware coding help plus agent tools, scheduled runs, and human approvals. Its free plan makes it possible to start without paying, and its paid choices accommodate either credit-based use or flat-fee usage. Look elsewhere if you need only basic completion, or if neither paid pricing structure suits the way you want to budget.
