Overview

AiSensy is a WhatsApp marketing and customer-engagement platform for businesses that want to manage campaigns and customer conversations in one place. It is best suited to teams using WhatsApp for both customer acquisition and support. Its broad mix of broadcasts, automation and human handoff is appealing, but conversation credits are an extra cost alongside subscriptions.

Key features

Broadcasts can be scheduled up to two months ahead and sent across multiple messaging categories, giving marketing teams room to plan campaigns rather than send each one manually. Click-to-WhatsApp ads and WhatsApp Forms add ways to bring prospects into a conversation and capture information there.

The drag-and-drop chatbot builder supports automated WhatsApp flows, while chatbot-to-human handoff lets a team take over when automation is not enough. Lead qualification, conversation routing and marketing journeys make the product relevant beyond one-off campaigns. AiSensy also says its AI agents can understand context and handle conversations around the clock; businesses should weigh that promise against the cost and limits of the AI-specific plans.

Integrations include Shopify, Razorpay, WooCommerce, WebEngage, Zapier, PayU and LeadSquared. The integrations page also describes free API integration for connecting APIs and automating notifications from CRMs or portals. Android and iOS apps are available alongside web and API access. AiSensy says it uses organizational and technical measures to protect personal information and does not process sensitive personal information.

Pricing

AiSensy has a free plan, paid subscriptions and a 14-day trial. Subscriptions do not cover WhatsApp conversation credits: those must be recharged separately, and per-message charges depend on the recipient's country. That distinction matters when forecasting campaign costs, especially for businesses sending messages across multiple countries.

Free Forever — 0.00 USD per free: The free plan has fair-use caps of 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes and 50 segments. It offers a way to start without a subscription, but the caps still matter as teams and data needs grow.
Basic — 45.00 USD per month: Includes WhatsApp marketing and broadcasting, retargeting and a shared team inbox. This is the entry paid tier for teams that need campaign tools and a shared place to manage replies.
Pro — 99.00 USD per month: Adds advanced campaign capabilities, higher segmentation limits and additional automation features. It is a stronger fit for teams whose campaigns need more targeting and automated workflows than Basic provides.
Premium — 299.00 USD per month: Provides higher usage limits, advanced reporting and automation. It suits businesses that need more capacity and campaign visibility.
Unlimited — 899.00 USD per month: Offers higher messaging throughput and expanded limits. “Unlimited” remains subject to fair use, with limits of up to 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes and 50 segments.
Enterprise — custom pricing: Offers custom limits and contracts, making it the tier to consider when standard plan constraints do not fit.

Separate product plans cover chatbot and AI-agent building. The WhatsApp AI Agent Builder is 50.00 USD per month, including 1,000 AI messages, knowledge-base Q&A, long-term user memory, a no-code builder, tool calling, skills and API integrations. Its annual-billing option is 89.10 USD per year and includes 3,500 AI messages per pricing card, with the same listed capabilities. The Drag & Drop WhatsApp Chatbot Builder costs 80.00 USD per month, or 72.00 USD per year billed annually. Both include five WhatsApp chatbots, flows triggered by keywords, templates, QR codes and Meta ads, cart management, catalog sharing, Shopify integration and three free AI generations. These specialized plans may suit buyers who need a builder, but they do not remove the separate WhatsApp conversation-credit charges.

Platforms

AiSensy supports Android, iOS, web and API access. Mobile apps make it accessible to teams working away from a desktop, while API access supports connections and notification workflows.

Who it's for

AiSensy is a practical fit for businesses that use WhatsApp to attract prospects, run broadcasts and support customers through live chat or automation. Teams that need lead capture, campaign journeys and a human fallback can use several parts of the platform together. It is less compelling for a buyer seeking a narrowly focused chatbot or one predictable price that already includes messaging charges.

Pros and cons

Pros: Broadcast scheduling up to two months ahead gives marketing teams useful planning range.
Pros: Chatbots, AI agents and human handoff cover both automated replies and conversations that need a person.
Pros: The free plan and broad integration list give businesses a way to start and connect existing tools.
Cons: Conversation credits cost extra, with message charges varying by recipient country, so subscription price alone does not show total messaging spend.
Cons: The Unlimited plan still has stated fair-use limits, including caps on agents, tags, attributes and segments.
Cons: The product has several separate builder plans and billing terms, which buyers should distinguish from the core subscriptions when comparing costs.

Alternatives

For a broader directory view, compare Conversational Marketing Software, WhatsApp Marketing Software, Messenger Marketing Software, Chatbot Builders and WhatsApp Business API Providers.

Spoki is worth comparing for its freemium plans and a Service tier with AI customer support, unlimited operators and automations, ticketing, and WhatsApp fees billed separately by Meta.
Botcadence is an alternative for teams interested in web chat and WhatsApp AI, with a free plan that includes 100 AI reply credits per month and 200 broadcast messages.
Dashly is a paid alternative whose AI Inbound Revenue Agents plan starts at 2500.00 USD per month for mid-market teams.
Gupshup is another API and web option for buyers comparing messaging fees; its stated messaging fee is 0.001 USD per message, with WhatsApp fees billed at actuals.
Interakt is another WhatsApp-capable platform to compare; its Starter plan is 12.00 USD per month and is Instagram-only.
Intercom is a paid alternative with an Essential plan at 19.00 USD per month, billed annually per seat.
Landbot is a freemium web chatbot builder; its Free plan includes 100 chats per month and one seat.
Manychat is a freemium alternative whose Free plan includes 25 active contacts per month, two channels, four active automations and one user.

Verdict

Choose AiSensy if WhatsApp is central to both your marketing and customer support, and you want broadcasts, lead capture, automation and human handoff in a single platform. Its strongest case is breadth; its main drawback is that separate conversation credits and fair-use caps complicate the headline subscription price. Look elsewhere if you need a simpler cost model or a more narrowly specialized tool.
