Overview

Founded in 2020 in Serafina Corrêa, Brazil, AllEars.Vet centers its workflow on AI-assisted consultation documentation. It transcribes consultations live, can raise diagnoses, exams and questions during an examination, and produces an editable record covering history, physical exam, assessment and plan. That can keep documentation and patient context together, but clinicians must review AI-generated material rather than treat it as a clinical decision-maker.

Key features

Live records: Generated notes are editable line by line, giving veterinarians a way to correct the record. Free includes live suggestions only for the first two minutes; Pro extends them throughout a consultation, a consequential difference for appointments that run longer.
Prescription support: The AI can suggest a drug discussed and calculate a dose using the patient’s weight. The veterinarian reviews and signs with a digital certificate, so prescribing responsibility remains with the professional.
Patient history: Consultations, exams, prescriptions and vaccines appear in a timeline, with natural-language search across history. Bloodwork, X-rays and lesion photos can be attached in chat for AI analysis alongside that history; this joins records and attachments, but does not remove the need for professional interpretation.
Scheduling and client access: Every plan includes online booking, a calendar and reminders, and appointments sync both ways with Google Calendar. Recurring appointments are supported. A password-free link lets guardians see upcoming doses, vaccination records and signed prescriptions selected by the veterinarian.
Clinic roles and data: Assistants and reception staff can join free and without a seat limit, manage patient and guardian information, view clinic history and documents, and use AI chat. Recording and prescription signing require veterinarian seats. The company says recordings and data are stored securely and are not used to train public models.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and allows 10 consultations, 20 patients, 150 chat messages and 10 prescriptions per month. Its two-minute live-suggestion window makes it a constrained fit for trying the workflow or a low-volume practice, not a full substitute for Pro when consultations regularly exceed that window.

Pro costs 9.99 USD per month billed monthly, or $8.33/mo billed yearly. It provides unlimited consultations, patients, prescriptions and chat messages, with live suggestions throughout the consultation. It is the clearest fit for an individual veterinarian whose use would outgrow Free; the lower monthly equivalent requires yearly billing.

Clinic costs 49.90 BRL per month, with yearly billing charged as 10 monthly payments for 12 months. It provides a shared pool of 200 consultations per veterinarian per month and unlimited shared patients; assistants and reception are free and unlimited. It suits a clinic that needs shared patient records and non-veterinarian staff access, though its consultation allowance is not unlimited.

A 7-day trial is offered. Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android, alongside the web version.

Platforms

AllEars.Vet runs on the web and has Android and iOS apps. Online booking is offered through the website, and two-way Google Calendar sync helps keep appointments aligned across the product and calendar.

Who it's for

Clinicians, specialists and new graduates who want AI-assisted records alongside patient history and scheduling are the strongest individual fit, particularly if they need more than Free’s monthly quotas. Clinics may benefit from unlimited assistant and reception access, while practices needing unrestricted consultations should weigh the Clinic pool carefully.

Pros and cons

Pro: Consultation notes, searchable history, attachments and scheduling share one workflow, reducing the need to split those tasks across separate systems.
Pro: Clinic assistants and reception can use several administrative and history tools without consuming paid seats.
Con: Free’s 10 consultations and 20-patient ceiling can quickly constrain a working practice, and live suggestions stop after two minutes.
Con: The Clinic allowance is capped at 200 consultations per veterinarian per month, and its billing is expressed as 10 payments over a 12-month yearly term.
Con: AI suggestions and dose calculations still require veterinary review and prescription signing.

Alternatives

For a broader appointment-software comparison, see Veterinary Appointment Scheduling Software. Consider Hunimalis when a free public listing with online booking is the priority. SchedulingKit may suit a general booking need that fits its free allowance of one team member, one event type and 50 bookings per month. Choose Vetilog if a veterinary record system with a free tier capped at 100 animals, one user and 100 Mo of documents or photos is a closer fit.

EasyWeek for Veterinary Clinics is another option for clinics comparing appointment tools. Bookerva may fit a basic booking setup that can work within its free allowance of 50 bookings a month, one staff member and one location. OpenVPM is an alternative for teams seeking self-hosted software and willing to operate the infrastructure, database, backups, email, messaging and model providers. NaVetor is another veterinary platform to compare, and Veterical is an alternative with a free plan.

Verdict

AllEars.Vet is a strong fit for veterinarians who want live consultation documentation, searchable patient history and scheduling in one place. Pro is the more practical choice once Free’s quotas or two-minute live-suggestion limit get in the way; clinics should look closely at the shared consultation cap and yearly payment structure. Practices that need booking alone, or cannot accept those limits and terms, should compare a scheduling-focused alternative.
