Overview

SearchPie combines on-page editing with technical SEO support: merchants can update images, meta tags and URLs individually or in bulk, and generate snippets and sitemaps to support crawling and ranking. Keyword insights are intended to guide content toward customers’ search activity, while speed tools include image compression, CSS and JavaScript minification, lazy loading and instant page loading.

Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center and Google Analytics 4 integrations feed dashboard displays and optimization recommendations. SearchPie says it does not use third-party AI models to analyze Google data. Its privacy policy says data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256, and related Google data is immediately and permanently deleted when an account is unlinked or the app is uninstalled.

The app is built for Shopify and supports Online Store 2.0 themes through Shopify’s app extension framework. Uninstallation is not a complete reset: ALT tags and compressed images remain in the database, although other app code, including meta tags, schema and instant-page code, is cleared. Merchants should account for that persistence before removing the app.

Key features

SEO and speed tools

Bulk editing makes catalog-wide cleanup more practical than handling every product separately, while individual editing remains available for targeted changes. Starter includes a full SEO report, speed analysis, bulk meta and ALT optimization, sitemap submission, instant page and broken-link detection. That is a substantial starting set for a store that needs foundational maintenance without a recurring bill.

Paid tiers add capabilities rather than simply removing a low free cap. Premium includes 250 AI Generator requests, automatic ALT tags, broken-links autopilot, image compression and Google Search Console. Enterprise raises the AI Generator allowance to 5,000 and adds keyword research, position tracking, backlink building, AMP and customized expert service. Keyword research therefore sits beyond the $39 monthly tier.

Support and data handling

24/7 in-app live chat and email support give merchants routes to assistance across the service. Data encryption and the stated deletion of connected Google data are relevant safeguards; however, the uninstall behavior for ALT tags and compressed images deserves particular attention for stores planning a migration.

Pricing

SearchPie is freemium, with a free Starter plan and paid options from $39/mo. A 7-day trial is offered. The plan prices and terms make a distinction between recurring subscriptions and one-off purchases:

Starter — 0.00 USD per year (billed $0 /yr): Full SEO Report, Speed Analysis, Bulk Meta + ALT Tags, Sitemap Submit, Instant Page and 24/7 Livechat. Best for merchants starting SEO work or maintaining a smaller store with core tools; it does not include the listed keyword research and position tracking of Enterprise.
VIP AI Generator — 35.00 USD per once (billed $35 /10,000 requests): Bulk AI-generated content, four writing tones and 30+ supported languages. This is a one-time purchase, not a monthly plan, for stores seeking a defined batch of generated content.
VIP SEO Scan — 39.00 USD per once (billed $39 /per scan request): Scans all website pages for broken and long URLs, meta, ALT, HTML tags and snippets, plus site speed and favicon checks. Its per-request charge suits an occasional broad scan better than ongoing monitoring.
Premium — 39.00 USD per month (billed $39 /mo): Includes 250 AI Generator requests, Auto ALT Tags, Broken links Autopilot, Image Compress and Google Search Console. It fits stores wanting automated routine optimization, but not the keyword research or position tracking included at the next tier.
Enterprise — 99.00 USD per month (billed $99 /mo): Includes 5,000 AI Generator requests, Keyword Research, Position Tracking, Backlink Building, AMP and Customized Expert service. It is the relevant recurring plan for merchants who need keyword and ranking work, at a significant step up from Premium.
Plus — 399.00 USD per month (billed $399 /mo): Includes everything in Enterprise, 1:1 SEO consultation, 10,000 AI generate requests, VIP SEO Scan and Personalized optimization. This is aimed at businesses seeking intensive, tailored support; it is difficult to justify for a store that only needs routine metadata and speed tools.

The Starter plan is free forever and includes image compression and broken-link detection, as well as its other core tools. No seat limits are specified in these plans, so teams should confirm their access needs before choosing a tier.

Platforms

SearchPie is a web-based Shopify app, with compatibility for Online Store 2.0 themes. Its Shopify focus is a strength for merchants who want store-specific SEO workflows, but it is not positioned as a general-purpose SEO platform across unrelated site systems.

Who it's for

SearchPie is a sensible fit for Shopify businesses that want bulk product SEO changes, speed optimization and Google connections in one place. Starter suits merchants establishing a basic workflow; Premium suits those prioritizing automated ALT tags and broken-link handling; Enterprise is the threshold for built-in keyword research and position tracking. Stores that do not need Shopify-specific workflows, or that want keyword research without moving to Enterprise, should compare alternatives.

Pros and cons

Pros: Starter is free forever and bundles reporting, bulk meta and ALT work, sitemap submission, speed analysis and support, making it a meaningful entry plan rather than a narrow preview.
Pros: Bulk and individual edits address both catalog-wide cleanup and targeted corrections, while speed tools cover images, scripts and loading behavior.
Pros: Google Search Console, Merchant Center and Analytics 4 integrations connect store optimization with familiar Google services; the stated encryption and Google-data deletion policy add useful privacy commitments.
Cons: Keyword research and position tracking require Enterprise at $99 per month, so merchants needing those insights face a substantial jump from Premium.
Cons: The one-time VIP scan price applies per scan request, making repeated whole-site checks potentially costly.
Cons: ALT tags and compressed images remain in the database after uninstalling, so leaving SearchPie does not remove every change it made.

Verdict

Choose SearchPie if you run a Shopify store and want bulk SEO edits, speed tools and Google integrations, with a free plan that can handle meaningful foundational work. Its main limitation is the cost of moving up for keyword research and ranking features, and merchants should plan for ALT tags and compressed images to remain after uninstalling. If those trade-offs do not fit, compare tools whose free limits or platform scope better match your needs.
