Overview

Vecteezy is an online marketplace for licensing stock photos, vector graphics, illustrations, editorial assets and footage, with a web editor and API access. It suits people who need a broad stock library, from occasional creators to teams managing shared asset workflows. Its appeal is the breadth of Pro content and commercial-use coverage; the free tier’s attribution requirement and five-download monthly cap make it a limited fit for regular production.

Key features

The marketplace brings together stock photos, vectors and footage, alongside illustration and editorial assets and a template library. Vecteezy adds thousands of resources each day, while Pro provides access to more than 60 million images, videos and other assets. That range can support varied creative work in one service, although the free allowance is better suited to light or occasional use than ongoing content production.

Pro subscriptions include unlimited photo, vector and 4K video downloads, full commercial rights and no attribution requirement. All content is royalty-free once licensed. Pro content also carries $10,000 in legal protection, and Pro subscribers receive priority support. The 30-day money-back guarantee applies only when fewer than three Pro files have been downloaded, so subscribers who make heavier use of the library quickly lose that refund option.

The web editor keeps asset work within Vecteezy, and API access offers another route into creative workflows. Teams can add seats, invite members, assign roles and limit billing access to admins. Teams also receive priority support and dedicated account management. Vecteezy states that it is SOC 2 compliant; Enterprise adds SSO/SAML, API and DAM integrations, and legal protection of up to $1 million per incident.

Pricing

Vecteezy uses a freemium model. The free plan allows five monthly downloads, but free resources require attribution, and basic features include ads and limitations. That is a workable way to source a small number of assets, but the cap is restrictive for anyone producing content regularly.

Paid options include Image Only, with five image downloads and one bundle; Video Only, with five video downloads and one bundle; Unlimited All Access, with unlimited downloads and one bundle; and 1, 5 or 10 Download Credits. These options let buyers choose between a specific media type, broad access or a fixed number of downloads, but each is custom pricing.

Pro is the clearest fit for individual creators who need recurring downloads, commercial rights and no attribution. Its unlimited downloads remove the free tier’s central constraint, while the legal protection and priority support add reassurance. The refund guarantee is conditional on downloading fewer than three Pro files within 30 days, and subscriptions can be canceled anytime; cancellation stops automatic renewal.

Teams and Enterprise add group administration and support rather than a free trial: demos are available, but neither plan offers a trial. Teams suit organizations that need managed seats and billing access, while Enterprise adds SSO/SAML, API and DAM integrations, and up to $1 million in legal protection per incident. Both use custom pricing. The page also identifies a paid-from figure of 0 /user/mo, but does not attach it to a named plan.

Platforms

Vecteezy is available on the web, including an online editor, and offers API access. That combination suits browser-based asset work and workflows that can use an API; the stated platforms do not include a desktop application.

Who it's for

Vecteezy is a strong candidate for designers, publishers and businesses that need stock across multiple media types and want licensing with commercial rights. Pro is better suited to frequent individual use than the capped free plan. Teams and Enterprise make more sense when shared access, billing controls, integrations or stronger legal protection are central requirements. Someone seeking only a few occasional assets may prefer a free service without attribution or a one-off purchase model.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad asset mix: photos, vectors, illustrations, editorial assets, footage and templates support varied creative needs.
Pro removes common usage friction: unlimited photo, vector and 4K video downloads come with commercial rights and no attribution requirement.
Team administration: seats, roles and admin-only billing access help organizations manage shared use.
Meaningful legal coverage: Pro content carries $10,000 in protection, with Enterprise coverage up to $1 million per incident.

Cons

Free use is narrow: five monthly downloads, attribution, ads and basic-feature limitations make the free tier a poor match for steady production.
Paid costs are hard to compare: the named download plans use custom pricing, so buyers cannot readily weigh them against one another.
No Teams or Enterprise trial: organizations must request a demo rather than evaluate those plans through a free trial.

Alternatives

For a broader Stock Vector Libraries comparison, consider these options:

Ouch! by Icons8 is a freemium choice with free illustrations that require attribution and support across web, mobile, desktop and extensions; it may suit users who want illustrations across more device types.
Openclipart is a free option with a free account supported by donations and no specific usage limits stated, a simpler fit for buyers focused on free clip art.
VectorStock offers pay-per-image purchasing with a Pro license and no ongoing commitment, so it may suit someone who wants individual vectors rather than an unlimited subscription.
DrawKit offers unlimited free content without an account on its Basic plan, making it worth considering for users who prioritize freely available illustrations.
illlustrations offers 120+ illustrations, unlimited SVG downloads and full commercial usage rights on its free plan; it suits projects that can work within that defined collection.
Storyset offers free personal and commercial use with attribution and permits modifications, a possible fit for users whose needs align with its illustration resources.
Worldvectorlogo offers a free tier with 1,000 API calls a month and a paid Base tier with 100,000 calls a month, so it may suit developers seeking logo access through a metered API.
Blush provides thousands of free illustrations with unlimited downloads, a suitable alternative for people seeking illustration downloads rather than a broad stock marketplace.

Verdict

Choose Vecteezy Pro if you regularly need varied stock assets and want unlimited downloads with commercial rights and no attribution. The free plan is useful for occasional sourcing, but its five-download cap and attribution requirement are real constraints. Teams should consider Vecteezy when seat management, integrations or legal coverage matter, while buyers who need transparent upfront pricing or a team trial should look elsewhere.
