Overview

Artguru AI Art Generator turns text prompts and reference images into artwork in a browser, with editing options and mobile access. It suits people who want a straightforward way to make varied images, while its free daily credits are best treated as a personal-use allowance rather than a route to commercial work.

Preset styles, reference images, and several output formats make it flexible for exploration; the trade-offs are a small free quota and commercial rights that depend on the plan or purchase.

Key features

Prompting, styles, and references

The browser generator creates images from text prompts. Users can choose styles such as cartoon, anime, or painting, describe a style themselves, or upload a reference image. That combination supports both open-ended prompt experiments and work guided by a visual example.

Output and editing

Square, portrait, and landscape dimensions cover common social and content formats, and downloads are available in standard or HD quality. Image editing is also included, so the service can do more than generate a first draft. The maker describes possible uses ranging from portraits and landscapes to marketing graphics and product photos; the range is broad, but the free plan's personal-use terms make it unsuitable for commercial deliverables.

API, privacy, and retention

Artguru documents an HTTP API authenticated with an API key, plus MCP tools for enhancement, restoration, unblurring, and upscaling. These are useful options for developers or image-processing workflows, distinct from the prompt generator.

Uploaded images and prompts are used to provide the service and may also be used to improve AI models. The policy says that training use cannot be reversed after material is incorporated into a model. Most information is stored and processed on U.S. servers; account data may typically be deleted or anonymized within 30 days. Payments go through third parties, and Artguru says it does not store full card numbers or CVVs. Consider those terms before uploading sensitive images or prompts.

Pricing

Free daily credits

The free plan is free and provides five credits per user per day, for up to five AI art pictures daily without a watermark. It is a useful way to explore personal projects, but the daily cap and non-commercial restriction rule it out for ongoing client or business work.

Subscription credits

Subscription pricing is custom pricing. Credit allowances vary by subscription and are shared across features; credits reset with the billing cycle and unused credits do not roll over. The maker does not publish a single price or allowance to compare, so buyers should confirm the terms for their intended workload before committing. Paid plans or qualifying one-time purchases may grant commercial-use rights for covered outputs, but rights depend on the applicable plan or purchase terms.

A free trial is offered. Trial media is kept for 24 hours, compared with one year for subscription media. Subscriptions can be used in a browser on a PC or mobile phone, or through the iPhone and Android apps. The terms also support sign-in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or VK.

Platforms

Artguru is available on web, Android, and iOS, and offers API access. The combination gives casual users a browser or phone option and gives developers a documented HTTP interface; the MCP tools focus on image enhancement and restoration tasks.

Who it's for

Artguru is a sensible fit for individuals exploring AI art, making personal illustrations, or trying different visual styles without paying upfront. Its reference-image support and portrait, square, and landscape outputs also make it useful for creators developing concepts for social posts or content.

It is a weaker fit for teams that need predictable commercial rights, a known monthly cost, or credits that carry over. Free outputs are personal-use only, subscription credits expire each cycle, and the allowance depends on the chosen subscription. Anyone working with sensitive source images should also weigh the possibility of model-improvement use.

Pros and cons

Pros

Five free images a day: The daily allowance enables regular personal experimentation without a watermark.
Flexible visual direction: Preset styles, written style descriptions, and reference images give users several ways to guide generation.
Practical output choices: Square, portrait, and landscape dimensions plus standard and HD downloads suit different personal and content needs.
Developer access: HTTP API endpoints and MCP image-enhancement tools extend its use beyond the browser generator.

Cons

Free use is non-commercial: Business and client work requires qualifying paid terms for covered outputs.
Credits expire: Subscription credits do not roll over, which can penalize users whose image needs vary from month to month.
Subscription cost and allowance vary: Custom pricing and variable credits make budgeting harder before confirming a plan.
Prompts and uploads may inform model improvement: Training use is irreversible once incorporated into a model, a meaningful concern for sensitive material.
