Overview

Auctria is an event fundraising platform for organizations that need to manage auctions and related event activity in one place. It is a strong fit for teams combining several fundraising formats, though its annual income and bidder caps make choosing the right plan important.

It supports event websites, payment recording, mobile bidding, and reporting, with unlimited events across its subscription plans. Nonprofit status is not required, though the platform is aimed at nonprofit fundraising.

Key features

Auctions and event management

Auctria supports live, silent, and online auctions, plus raffles, ticket sales, sponsorships, and paddle raises. That breadth is useful for organizations combining multiple activities at one event rather than assembling separate tools. Each event can have its own website built from a template or customized core template, with branding, images, and video.

Payments and mobile apps

Stripe and Authorize.Net integrations sit alongside the ability to record cash and check payments. The optional Admin app supports guest check-in, card and tap-to-pay checkout, and recording sales and bids; the Bidder app lets participants bid from mobile devices and receive alerts. Auctria says card details stay with the connected processor and it retains a secure token rather than the full card number.

Reporting and connections

More than 100 customizable report templates and filters give organizers a range of ways to review event activity, and Auctria says data can be exported for CRM use. Spreadsheet import and export handle bulk data transfers. Automations uses Zapier for event-triggered notifications to services such as Slack, Gmail, and Google Calendar.

Security and support

Auctria says it supports PCI DSS v4.0 responsibilities and enforces TLS, multifactor authentication, password complexity, account lockout, and session timeouts. Support is included with every plan: Explorer has chat and email, while Emerald and Diamond add priority chat and email support.

Pricing

Auctria has a free plan and paid subscriptions from $375 per year. The plan choice affects more than the annual fee: income, bidder, team-member, and credit-card-fee limits change at each subscription tier.

Explorer: Free per year, with unlimited events, $10,000 total income per year, 250 bidders per event, 3 team members, and a 1% credit card fee. It suits smaller events, but the income and team caps can become constraints as a program grows.
Emerald: $375 per year, with unlimited events, $50,000 total income per year, 750 bidders per event, 10 team members, and a 0.5% credit card fee. This is the practical step up for organizations whose activity outgrows Explorer; it still caps annual income and event bidders.
Diamond: $750 per year, with unlimited income tracking, 1,000 bidders per event, 99 team members, and a 0.25% credit card fee. It is the tier for larger operations that need more room and a lower stated card fee, although the bidder cap remains.

Two one-time assistance options are available: Assist 20 costs $49.95 per call for one scheduled 20-minute Zoom call, and Assist 45 costs $99.95 per call for one scheduled 45-minute Zoom call. Emerald or Diamond subscribers can add Launch Foundation for +$499 per event for assisted setup, or Launch Advantage for +$749 per event for guest management up to 250 guests. Launch Premier offers customized ticket management for more than 250 guests at custom pricing and also requires an active Emerald or Diamond subscription.

Paid plans include an initial block of texts, with additional texts available for purchase; texting is limited to the United States and Canada.

Platforms

Auctria supports Android, iOS, and web. Its two optional apps divide the mobile work between staff operations and participant bidding.

Who it's for

Auctria makes sense for organizations running auctions alongside ticketing, raffles, or other event fundraising, especially when event-specific websites, staff check-in, and detailed reporting matter. Smaller groups can start on Explorer, but should compare the $10,000 annual income, 250-bidder, and 3-member limits against expected event size. Organizations with larger audiences or teams need to budget for Emerald or Diamond. Its nonprofit focus does not exclude other organizations, since nonprofit status is not required.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple auction and fundraising formats share one platform, reducing the need to coordinate separate event tools.
Pros: More than 100 customizable report templates, CRM data export, and spreadsheet transfers give organizers options for reviewing and moving event data.
Pros: Explorer supports unlimited events at no subscription cost, making it a way to start with a smaller program.
Cons: Explorer's income, bidder, and team-member caps may force a paid upgrade even when an organization only needs more capacity in one area.
Cons: Paid subscriptions still cap annual income or event bidders on Emerald, and Diamond caps bidders at 1,000.
Cons: Texting is restricted to the United States and Canada, and additional texts can be purchased beyond the initial block.

Verdict

Auctria is a strong choice for organizations that want auctions, event fundraising, mobile bidding, payments, and reporting under one roof. Its breadth and unlimited event count are the main reasons to choose it; look elsewhere if your event exceeds its bidder limits, your texting audience is outside the United States or Canada, or you need a free plan without Explorer's income and team caps.
