Overview

WellnessLiving is an operating platform for fitness and wellness businesses that want bookings, payments and client engagement in the same system. It is strongest for studios and gyms combining in-person services with digital forms, virtual sessions or branded client apps; smaller teams should weigh the plan limits and added cost of those extras.

For operators seeking one system to handle both day-to-day scheduling and client-facing services, WellnessLiving is a broad option, but it is less compelling if API access or a low-cost plan for a growing team is essential.

Key features

Bookings and business operations: Class and appointment scheduling, online booking, payments, staff management and automated billing cover core studio workflows. POS and credit card processing are part of Starter, making that tier useful for a solo operator, but its one-staff limit makes it a poor fit for a team.
Client discovery and apps: A subscription includes Explorer, a search-optimized business listing intended to help prospective clients find and book services. Achieve serves clients and Elevate serves staff; custom-branded client apps can be launched on Google Play and the App Store. The separate White Label plan is a substantial additional expense for businesses that want their own branded download.
Forms and virtual services: Forms supports intake paperwork, surveys, questionnaires and waivers, with signed documents saved to client profiles. FitLIVE supports live virtual sessions and FitVID offers customized on-demand video channels, giving businesses options beyond in-person appointments.
Marketing and retention: Business adds events scheduling, email and text marketing, lead management, and rewards and loyalty. These tools matter most to businesses actively working on client acquisition and retention; Starter omits them.
Integrations and API: Official partners include Google Reserve, ClassPass, Wellhub, Zoom, Zapier, GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, QuickBooks, Brivo and Spivi. API access requires approval and credentials arranged through an Account Executive, so it is not a self-serve option for teams planning custom integrations.
Security and support: WellnessLiving says it uses Amazon Web Services, strives for 99.9% uptime and follows PCI compliance protocols; it has also announced SOC 2 compliance for security, availability and confidentiality controls. Plans include onboarding with a dedicated specialist, a kickoff call and two one-hour training sessions, which can help businesses moving existing data into the platform.

Pricing

WellnessLiving has a free Achieve Basic option alongside paid business plans. Prices below reflect the stated billing terms; Business and BusinessPro also show higher monthly rates and a two-month promotional saving.

Achieve Basic — 0.00 USD per free: Provides appointment and class booking, client reviews, rewards and loyalty, digital signatures, and no competitor ads. It suits clients seeking a basic app experience, not a business needing the full operations platform.
Starter — 62.00 USD per month, billed annually: Includes one staff member, class and appointment booking, Achieve and Elevate apps, POS and credit card processing, and free data migration. It is the entry point for a solo operator, but the single-seat cap rules it out for even a small team.
Business — 35.00 USD per month, billed annually; $179/mo; plus save 80% for 2 months: Adds unlimited staff, rewards and loyalty, event scheduling, email and text marketing, and lead management. The lower annual figure makes it appear cheaper than Starter, while the stated regular monthly rate is higher; confirm the applicable billing terms before choosing.
BusinessPro — 62.00 USD per month, billed annually; $314/mo; plus save 80% for 2 months: Includes everything in Business and a white-label Achieve client app. Choose it when custom branding is important enough to justify the higher stated regular monthly rate.
Enterprise — custom pricing: Includes unlimited clients and staff. It is the option for businesses whose scale exceeds the named plans, but the price must be established with the company.
Achieve White Label — 209.00 USD per month, billed monthly: Provides dedicated Google Play and Apple App Store downloads, custom branding, client registration, asset booking, event registration and push notifications. It is a separate paid app option for businesses prioritizing their own branded client experience.

The free plan is limited to Achieve client features rather than the full business system. Starter's one-staff allowance is the clearest operating constraint, while Business and BusinessPro step up the monthly commitment for team and marketing tools. Paid plans include migration and guided onboarding support.

Platforms

WellnessLiving supports web, Android and iOS. Its apps cover client and staff use, and branded client apps are available for both major mobile app stores. Multi-location support is included, making it relevant to businesses operating more than one site.

Who it's for

WellnessLiving is a good fit for fitness and wellness businesses that want bookings, payments, staffing, marketing and loyalty tied together, especially those using forms or virtual services alongside in-person classes. A solo operator can start with Starter, while multi-staff businesses are better matched to Business or BusinessPro. A business that needs self-service API access, or only wants a basic booking tool without a broader platform, should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad operating coverage: Scheduling, billing, POS, staff and client engagement sit within one platform, reducing the need to piece together those functions.
Client-facing extras: Explorer, forms, virtual services and client apps support discovery and service delivery beyond appointment management.
Multi-location support: Included support suits businesses managing more than one site.
Onboarding assistance: Free data migration and structured training reduce the work of moving into a new system.

Cons

Starter is single-seat: The entry business tier cannot accommodate a staff team.
Branded apps add cost: White Label Achieve costs 209.00 USD per month when purchased separately, while BusinessPro also carries a higher regular monthly rate.
API access is gated: Approval and credentials must be arranged through an Account Executive, which may slow teams needing custom connections.
Pricing needs careful comparison: Business and BusinessPro show annual-billed figures alongside higher monthly rates and a temporary promotional saving.

Alternatives

For massage businesses comparing specialized tools, Massage Therapy Scheduling Software and Massage Therapy Software are category directories. Gym Management Software, Yoga Studio Software and Pilates Studio Software are relevant directories for operators focused on those business types; Salon App Builder Software is the corresponding directory for salon-branded apps.

MassageHub is worth considering for a massage practice that wants a free plan with online booking, client management, SOAP notes, payments, a portal and intake forms. Servegalo may suit a small service business seeking a free web plan capped at one location and three staff, with a 1% fee on collected booking deposits. Goldie offers a free option limited to 20 appointments per month and one user, so it is better suited to a solo provider with modest booking volume. Pronto has a forever-free plan capped at one staff member, 100 clients and 50 bookings a month, making it an option for a very small operation testing its needs.

Zanda, HelloNote, Click4Time and Noterro are alternatives to compare for practice management and scheduling.

Verdict

WellnessLiving is best for fitness and wellness operators that want a connected system for scheduling, payments, client engagement and multiple locations, with forms and virtual services available when their offering extends online. Its breadth and onboarding support are persuasive reasons to consolidate operations. Look elsewhere if a growing team needs a lower-cost entry point or if custom API access must be available without approval.
