Overview

Auromine is point-of-sale software for jewellery shops and general retailers, with web and Android support. It is best suited to shops that can choose a plan around a defined counter setup. The free tiers are useful for a small start, but their invoice and item caps make paid plans the practical choice as a shop grows.

Barcode scanning, purchase and sales orders, and stock alerts cover checkout and several inventory workflows. The product is based in Chennai, India, and was founded in 2020. It also belongs among Retail Management Software and Inventory Management Software.

Key features

Barcode scanning: Supports barcode-based item handling, relevant to shops that want this in their POS workflow.
Purchase and sales orders: Both workflows are supported, extending its scope beyond recording checkout sales.
Stock alerts: Gives shops an inventory-monitoring capability alongside order management.
Web and Android: The platform supports web and Android, with mobile apps also listed. Paid plans distinguish mobile, web, desktop, and multi-user counter setups, so the right fit depends on how staff need to operate the POS.

Pricing

Auromine has a free tier, paid plans from ₹699/yr, and a 21-day trial. All plan prices below are per shop, per year, excluding GST. The free editions cap use at 30 invoices per month and 200 items; every paid tier removes those limits, so the main decision becomes counter type and capacity.

Jewellery POS

Plan	Price	Allowance
Pearl	0.00 INR per free	1 counter, 30 invoices per month, 200 items
Silver	2999.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter, unlimited invoices and items
Gold	3999.00 INR per year	1 web counter, unlimited invoices and items
Platinum	5499.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter and 1 web counter, unlimited invoices and items
Diamond	9999.00 INR per year	5 counters or users, unlimited invoices and items

Pearl is the no-cost way to start a jewellery shop on one counter, but the monthly invoice cap and item limit can constrain active or expanding stores. Silver suits a single mobile counter; Gold costs more for a web counter instead. Platinum is the tier for shops needing both mobile and web counters, while Diamond offers five counters or users for a larger team.

Retail POS

Plan	Price	Allowance
Free	0.00 INR per free	1 counter, 30 invoices per month, 200 items
Mobile	699.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter, unlimited invoices and items
Desktop	999.00 INR per year	1 desktop counter, unlimited invoices and items
Mobile + Desktop	1499.00 INR per year	1 mobile counter and 1 desktop counter, unlimited invoices and items
5 Users	4999.00 INR per year	5 counters or users, unlimited invoices and items

The Retail Free tier has the same caps as Pearl. Mobile is the lowest-cost paid option and removes both limits for one mobile counter; Desktop costs more for a desktop counter. Mobile + Desktop combines one of each, while 5 Users is aimed at shops needing five counters or users. The per-shop annual billing and GST exclusion matter when comparing the listed prices with a budget.

Platforms

Auromine supports web and Android, and mobile apps are listed. The plan menu also distinguishes desktop counters for Retail POS, so buyers should match the counter allowance to their intended setup.

Who it's for

Auromine is a sensible fit for jewellery stores and general retailers that want POS capabilities including barcode scanning, orders, and stock alerts, and can select a plan based on counter type and number. A single-counter shop can start free if 30 monthly invoices and 200 items are enough; shops that exceed either cap need a paid tier. Businesses needing more than five counters or users, or a different platform setup, should compare other options.

Pros and cons

Pros: Separate jewellery and retail lineups let shops choose among purpose-specific plan sets.
Pros: Paid plans include unlimited invoices and items, and the entry retail paid tier is 699.00 INR per year for one mobile counter.
Pros: Barcode scanning, purchase and sales orders, and stock alerts address several everyday retail workflows.
Cons: Both free tiers stop at 30 invoices per month and 200 items, which can make them short-lived for a growing shop.
Cons: Counter types are tier-specific; for example, web and mobile jewellery counters together start at Platinum rather than Silver or Gold individually.
Cons: Five-counter/user plans are a substantial step up in price from single-counter options.

Alternatives

Nimbus RMS is worth considering for a short, no-cost evaluation: its 14-day trial supports up to 3 stores, 50 products, and 1 user and register per store, with no receipt limit or credit-card requirement.
GoFrugal Retail is an alternative for buyers wanting Android, iOS, web, or Windows support and a free trial; it has no free plan.
SwilERP may suit buyers who prefer a longer evaluation window: its cloud plan is 1000.00 INR per month per user and includes a 45-day free trial without a credit card; it supports Android, iOS, web, and Windows.
RetailPOS is an option for businesses seeking pricing customized by business size, outlet count, and modules, rather than a free plan.
Erply is a paid alternative with a Growth Plan at 1000.00 USD per month, supporting 3 stores and unlimited users.
Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service is another paid option for retailers to consider.
Aptos Retail is a paid alternative supporting Android, API, iOS, and web.
Cegid Retail is a paid alternative with pricing customized on request.

Verdict

Choose Auromine if you run a jewellery store or general retail shop and its counter-based tiers match your operation: its strongest case is the combination of core POS and inventory workflows with low-priced retail entry plans and unlimited paid-plan invoices and items. Look elsewhere if the free caps are too restrictive, your team needs more than five counters or users, or the available platform and counter choices do not fit your setup.
