Overview

Teams can find niche influencers, review the websites they write for and their social profiles, and add prospects to a link-building CRM. Multiple campaigns, competitor link research, link imports, task assignment, and results reporting support work from prospecting through campaign review. Tracking covers natural and paid links, so the workflow can accommodate more than one type of placement.

Authoritas connects Google Search Console, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Lighthouse API, Majestic, and OpenAI GPT-3 API. Its SEO database covers more than 125 million commercial keywords in 50 countries, with backlink data supplied by Majestic. That breadth is relevant to teams already using this wider SEO ecosystem, but is less persuasive for buyers who need only a simple outreach tracker.

Key features

Prospect discovery and campaign management

Finding contributors and their publisher sites before adding them to a CRM keeps prospect research connected to campaign work. Multiple campaigns, competitor research, imports, and assignable tasks make the platform better suited to coordinated team programmes than a single-purpose contact list. However, the plans with more users are substantially more expensive, and the Business plan includes only one user despite its higher domain and credit allowances.

Link tracking and support

Tracking natural and paid links gives teams a way to monitor results alongside outreach activity. Authoritas offers a help centre, live chat during UK office hours, email support, and phone support Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 UK time. The privacy policy cautions that internet transmission can have security vulnerabilities and cannot be guaranteed absolutely safe from third-party access, a consideration for teams handling sensitive campaign data.

Pricing

Authoritas uses a freemium model, with a free plan, a free trial, and paid plans billed monthly. The free SEO plan allows two websites, 1,000 keyword rank credits per month, and one user; it must be accessed at least once every 30 days to remain active. Those caps make it useful for an individual evaluating the service, but not a durable option for a multi-site team.

Plan	Price	Included limits	Best fit
Free	Free	2 domains; 1,000 keyword rank credits/month; 1 user	Individual evaluation or very limited use
Essential	99.00 GBP per month	5 domains; 15,000 keyword rank credits; 1 user	One-person SEO work across several sites
Expert	459.00 GBP per month	35 domains; 100,000 keyword rank credits; 5 users	Small teams managing larger site portfolios
Business	679.00 GBP per month	75 domains; 300,000 keyword rank credits; 1 user	High-volume work where domain and credit capacity matter more than seats

Essential provides a clear step up in domain and keyword capacity over Free, but still limits work to one user. Expert is the first listed plan with multiple seats, while Business raises capacity further but returns to a single user; teams should weigh that seat constraint against its larger quotas. The supplied plan details give no price for an additional user.

Platforms

Authoritas supports web and API access. That gives teams a browser-based option as well as API access, though the platform details do not describe API capabilities or usage limits.

Who it's for

The product is aimed at SEO and PR teams that need to discover prospects, coordinate multiple campaigns, and track link-building outcomes. Authoritas describes large ecommerce, multi-location, and multinational brands as a fit for large-scale projects. Smaller teams running occasional campaigns may find the starting price and single-seat Essential plan difficult to justify.

Pros and cons

Pros: Prospect discovery, campaign tasks, and link tracking sit within one workflow, reducing the need to separate research from coordination.
Pros: Integrations and a large keyword database can suit teams already working across Authoritas's broader SEO environment.
Pros: A free tier and free trial let individuals assess the product before committing to a paid plan.
Cons: The free tier is capped at two websites, 1,000 monthly keyword rank credits, and one user, and requires a login every 30 days to stay active.
Cons: Essential and Business each include just one user, limiting their fit for teams despite higher site and credit quotas.
Cons: The free-plan security caveat notes that absolute protection from third-party access cannot be guaranteed.
