Overview

BipOrder HACCP is a restaurant food-safety module for turning routine checks and records into a digital workflow. It is a strong fit for kitchens that need traceability and audit documentation, especially if they also want BipOrder’s restaurant tools. The trade-off is that HACCP is part of the Ultimate plan, even though the module can be used on its own.

Key features

Temperature readings can be entered manually or captured automatically, with alerts when they pass configured limits. Ultimate includes unlimited manual probes; Bluetooth and Wi-Fi probes are optional. That gives teams flexibility in how they log temperatures, but automated monitoring may mean additional hardware.

Lot records include dates and suppliers, and staff can scan barcodes for products and lots. Cleaning tasks can be scheduled and validated with a photo, which gives managers a record of completion rather than just a checked box. Digital checklists, inspections, audits and advanced compliance reporting extend the workflow beyond temperature logs.

Records are timestamped and exportable as PDFs for DGCCRF/DDPP audits, and the app can generate a Plan de Maîtrise Sanitaire. That makes the module useful for teams that need formal records to support food-safety oversight. It can operate independently or connect with other BipOrder modules such as KDS and Zelty; compatible tools also include ShopCaisse, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Stripe. BipOrder also describes Uber Direct delivery.

Pricing

BipOrder has a free Starter plan, but it does not include HACCP. Starter provides a read-only QR menu, custom branding, staff management and AI menu import, so it may suit a restaurant exploring the wider platform rather than a team that needs food-safety records.

Essential costs 59.00 EUR per month and adds table QR ordering, table and room management, online payments, Click & Collect, basic reports and two payment modes. Pro costs 99.00 EUR per month and adds a kitchen display system, multiple printers, a server app, no-show-protected reservations, preorders, split payments and advanced reports. Digital also costs 99.00 EUR per month; it focuses on a generated website, custom mobile app and domain, online ordering, Stripe payments, and ShopCaisse/Zelty integration. None of these plans includes the full HACCP module.

Ultimate costs 149.00 EUR per month and includes full HACCP, kiosk ordering, delivery with Uber Direct, professional analytics, API access and 12 months of the Digital plan at no charge. It includes unlimited tablets, users and manual probes. This is the relevant plan for HACCP, and the optional Bluetooth or Wi-Fi probes matter for teams seeking automated readings.

A 30-day trial unlocks Ultimate features without requiring a bank card. Afterward, users can move to Starter. That offers a way to assess the broader platform, but continued HACCP use means paying for Ultimate.

Platforms

BipOrder supports Android, iOS and web, and provides an API. A help center offers tutorials, FAQs and guides for setup, modules, integrations and billing.

Who it's for

The product is aimed at traditional and fast-food restaurants, food trucks, collective catering, care homes, dark kitchens and production kitchens. Its range of records can serve operations with varied food-preparation routines, while standalone use helps teams that want HACCP without adopting every BipOrder module. Businesses seeking HACCP at a lower ongoing price, or a free HACCP tier, should compare alternatives.

Pros and cons

Pros: Temperature logs, lot traceability, photo-validated cleaning and audit records sit in one workflow, reducing the need to keep these records in separate systems.
Pros: The module can be used independently, and PDF exports and a generated Plan de Maîtrise Sanitaire support formal documentation.
Cons: Full HACCP is bundled in Ultimate at 149.00 EUR per month; Starter is free but does not include it.
Cons: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi probes are optional, so automated temperature capture may require extra equipment.

Alternatives

Restaurant Food Safety Software is a useful directory for comparing food-safety products. Consider Hubl if you want a paid alternative with per-site pricing and unlimited users and devices on its Tall plan. Food Safe System is worth comparing when automated temperature monitoring across multiple kitchens is the priority, though its sensor plan includes a setup fee.

FoodDocs may suit teams looking for unlimited users and monitoring tasks in its Lite plan, which is priced per site. For a single venue and up to 10 users, compare FoodSafety HQ; its Enterprise plan is aimed at businesses with at least 10 venues and unlimited users. Safe Food Pro is another paid option, with a Professional plan billed annually per site.

Traceo is a candidate for a small operation that can work within a free allowance of one establishment and 50 HACCP records per month. Appticc HACCP offers a Restaurante plan for one location and up to five professionals making records. Food Safety Guru is another paid alternative with custom pricing.

Verdict

Choose BipOrder HACCP if your kitchen needs temperature control, traceability, cleaning validation and audit records in one system, and you value the option to run it without adopting the rest of BipOrder. The main reason to look elsewhere is cost: the full module requires Ultimate at 149.00 EUR per month, while the free Starter plan does not cover HACCP.
