Overview

The product handles two distinct jobs: sending welcome, thank-you, and check-in videos, and gathering video or text testimonials for websites, social media, or email. That breadth is useful when both customer follow-up and published feedback matter, but the two products have separate plan tracks and quotas. Buyers should decide which job they need before comparing prices.

Key features

Bonjoro supports one-to-one and one-to-many videos, custom templates, calls to action, and embedded apps. Mobile recording and engagement tracking support sending and following up beyond a desktop workflow. Template counts can constrain teams that need more variety: Video Messaging Starter includes two, while Pro includes five.

Workflows can connect through native CRM integrations, Zapier, or Make, or start from a CSV contact upload. Bonjoro advertises connections to 1,000+ tools, including HubSpot, Pipedrive, Shopify, ActiveCampaign, Intercom, Mailchimp, and Patreon. This is a meaningful fit for teams that want video messages tied to existing customer processes; CSV import provides a route when a direct connection is not part of the workflow.

The testimonials product collects video and text responses and supports website embeds or sharing through social media and email. Its free tier allows 10 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, and one embed. Paid tiers increase video capacity and embed counts, and remove Bonjoro branding, which matters for businesses publishing feedback under their own brand.

Bonjoro says it acts as controller for website, marketing, and account data, and as processor for customer-sent video messages, with UK and EU GDPR applying where relevant. It says payment information is encrypted with SSL and processed by Stripe, while videos and personal information are stored with AWS in a controlled environment with limited access. Support includes live chat and email responses within 24 hours.

Pricing

Bonjoro is freemium, with video messaging and testimonials priced separately. Video Messaging Free is free forever, requires no credit card, and includes CRM integrations, unlimited screen recording, iOS and Android apps, and Bonjoro branding. Its video quota is the key caveat: the comparison section says up to 50 videos, despite the top card saying unlimited videos. That inconsistency makes the cap worth confirming before relying on the free plan for ongoing outreach.

Video Messaging Starter costs $15 /mo, billed annually, and adds branding, CTA buttons, unlimited CRM workflows, one-to-one training, and two message templates. It is the entry paid choice for a small workflow that can live with a tight template allowance. Video Messaging Pro is $29 /mo, billed annually, and adds unlimited branded videos, unlimited videos, workspaces, video scheduling, and five templates. It better suits teams that need higher volume and scheduling, though its template count remains finite.

Grrrowth is $79.00 USD per month, with annual pricing and three users included. Company starts from $399/mo and includes 20 users; Enterprise has custom pricing and includes 10 users. These upper tiers may suit larger teams, but the included seats differ substantially, so compare the seat count against the actual team rather than assuming a higher tier always means more users. Paid messaging cards offer a 14-day free trial, and the annual toggle advertises savings of up to 40%.

Testimonials Free is free and includes 10 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, one website embed, custom styling, unlimited requests, and no video time limit. Testimonials Pro costs $20 /mo, billed annually, and raises capacity to 250 video testimonials and 10 embeds, adds one custom domain, and removes Bonjoro branding. Testimonials Growth is $79 /mo, billed annually, with 2,500 video testimonials, 20 embeds, three custom domains, unlimited text testimonials and requests, no video time limit, and no Bonjoro branding. Pro is a practical step up for organizations publishing feedback across several pages; Growth fits a larger testimonial library or more extensive web presence. The annual toggle advertises savings over 30% for these testimonial tiers.

Platforms

Bonjoro is available on web, iOS, Android, and as an extension. Mobile apps are particularly relevant to teams recording personal messages away from a desk, while web access supports managing workflows and publishing testimonials.

Who it's for

Bonjoro is a strong fit for coaches and consultants, ecommerce sellers, nonprofits, SaaS teams, and universities or colleges when personal video follow-up is part of how they welcome, thank, or check in with customers. It is less compelling for teams that only need basic recording or have no recurring use for customer video: the separate messaging and testimonial plans can add scope they do not need.

Pros and cons

Pros: CRM, Zapier, and Make workflows give teams multiple ways to connect video outreach to customer processes, with CSV upload as a fallback.
Pros: Messaging and testimonial collection sit in one offering, with embeds and sharing options for turning responses into published feedback.
Pros: The free plans make it possible to start without a subscription, including a free messaging tier with CRM integrations and a separate testimonial tier with unlimited text responses.
Cons: The free messaging video cap is presented inconsistently, creating uncertainty for anyone planning regular use.
Cons: Starter and Pro limit message templates to two and five respectively, which can restrict teams with many audience-specific messages.
Cons: Messaging and testimonials use different plan tracks, so teams wanting both should account for their separate quotas and pricing.

Verdict

Choose Bonjoro if personal customer videos, connected follow-up workflows, and publishable testimonials are all useful parts of your operation. Its combination of messaging and feedback collection is the clearest reason to select it; look elsewhere if you only need occasional recordings, or if the free video cap and annual paid terms do not fit your planned volume.
