Overview

Hiriso is an AI interview companion and recruiting platform for teams that want structured interview support alongside candidate and job management. It is best suited to recruiters who value live guidance and multilingual transcription within one workflow.

Its interview signals can help interviewers probe further, while leaving hiring judgments to people.

Key features

In live interviews, Hiriso transcribes speech, identifies questions, scores competencies, and suggests follow-up questions. Automated scorecards and interviewer coaching can bring more consistency to evaluation, though teams should treat scores as aids rather than substitutes for judgment.

It can flag responses that appear to be read from an AI tool. The flag is a reason to ask a follow-up, not an accusation or automatic rejection; that distinction matters in fair candidate assessment.

Live transcription supports 50+ languages, including a mode for candidates who switch languages mid-answer. That makes Hiriso a stronger fit for multilingual interviews than a workflow limited to one language.

Candidate profiles, resume parsing, customizable Kanban pipeline stages, and job-candidate fit scores give recruiters tools to organize candidates as well as conduct interviews. Integrations include Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Zoho Recruit, with REST API keys for external integrations.

Hiriso says interview data is not used to train public or shared AI models and that processing is tenant-isolated. Its privacy policy describes redaction of names and contact details before external AI processing, with optional resume parsing as an exception for initial extraction. Listed safeguards include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, secure sessions, and audit logging. Customers can configure retention, delete data, and set automatic expiration; deleted data is permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe. Users can also add hardware security keys or biometric authentication through WebAuthn.

Customers are responsible for notifying participants and obtaining any required consent for recording and AI analysis. That obligation is an important operational consideration for any team using interview recording.

Pricing

Hiriso has a free plan and a free trial. The Free plan is free, billed Forever free, and includes 3 AI-powered interviews per month, 1 user, unlimited candidates, and unlimited job openings. It is a practical way for an individual to try the workflow, but the monthly interview cap is restrictive for regular hiring.

Hiriso Pro costs 39.00 USD per month, billed Free Early Access. It includes 20 AI-powered interviews per month, 1–50 team seats, unlimited candidates, and unlimited job openings. Additional interviews cost $3 each. This is the more suitable option for teams that need shared access, but the interview allowance still requires planning as hiring volume grows.

Custom has custom pricing with flexible terms and contract. It includes a custom AI-powered interview limit, unlimited seats, dedicated support, an SLA, and custom integrations. It is aimed at larger or more demanding deployments; the unlimited seats and tailored interview allowance are the key step up from Pro.

Platforms

Hiriso supports web, macOS, Windows, and iOS. That range can accommodate teams working across desktop and mobile devices.

Who it's for

Hiriso makes the most sense for recruiting teams that want interview guidance, candidate pipeline tools, and calendar or ATS connections in the same product. Its multilingual transcription can also suit interviews where candidates switch languages. It is less compelling for organizations that need a much higher interview volume on an entry-level plan or cannot take responsibility for consent procedures.

Pros and cons

Pros: Live transcription, competency scoring, and suggested follow-ups support a more structured interview.
Pros: The AI-use flag is framed as a prompt for clarification, not an automated hiring decision.
Pros: More than 50 transcription languages and multilingual mode support language-switching candidates.
Pros: Candidate and job workflow tools, integrations, and API keys extend use beyond the interview itself.
Cons: Free is capped at 3 interviews per month, while Pro includes 20 and charges $3 for each additional interview.
Cons: Customers must handle participant notification and any required recording and AI-analysis consent.

Alternatives

Hyring is worth considering for teams comparing freemium interview tools; its Free plan includes 50 credits per month for one seat and one active job post, while Pro is 79.00 USD per month.

Equip may suit teams prioritizing core ATS functionality: its free plan covers the ATS, while assessments are paid features; Standard is 30.00 USD per month.

ASTRNT offers a free allowance of 5 candidate responses per month with unlimited users and jobs, which may appeal to teams focused on applicant responses.

Metaview has Pro at 100.00 USD per month per user, including 200 sourced profiles per month, and Max at 300.00 USD per month per user; consider it when profile sourcing is central to the workflow.

BarRaiser offers a free Interviewer lite plan with five interviews, interview notes, a co-pilot, highlights, and recording; it is an alternative for teams assessing interview-focused tools.

HackerRank is a paid option with a Starter plan at 165.00 USD per month, billed $1,990 billed annually, including one user, screening and interviews, and 120 attempts per year.

RoundZero offers a free plan with one active job, five evaluation reports per job, and one teammate plus the account holder; it may fit teams centered on applicant pre-evaluation.

Talview uses tailored, unit-based pricing, typically with a minimum commitment of approximately 150 to 200 candidates, making it an option for teams evaluating candidate-volume commitments.

Verdict

Choose Hiriso if your recruiting team wants live interview guidance, multilingual transcription, and candidate workflow tools together. Its strongest reason to buy is that combination; its clearest reasons to look elsewhere are the 20-interview Pro allowance with $3 overages and the customer’s responsibility for participant consent.
