Overview

The API returns candidate information as structured JSON, which can feed systems that process applications or organize candidate records. It supports more than 200 data fields and over 40 resume languages, with automatic language identification. That breadth suits teams handling varied documents or international applications; the actual value depends on whether the extracted fields match their workflow.

Supported formats include DOC, DOCX, PDF, RTF, TXT, ODT, HTM, HTML, DOCM, DOTM, DOT, and DOTX. The parser can also redact potentially biased information from more than 57 resume or CV fields. RChilli identifies application-form autofill, scanned-resume and email processing, bulk parsing, duplicate checks, and taxonomy-based indexing in Solr or Elasticsearch as uses. Together, these make it relevant beyond one-at-a-time resume ingestion.

RChilli says it manages HR-system implementation and customizations, with integration possible within 15 minutes. It also lists integrations through Oracle Cloud Marketplace, SAP SuccessFactors, and Salesforce AppExchange. The company says its SaaS parsing services do not store submitted data or personally identifiable information. It lists ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, PCI, and FedRAMP compliance for the parser.

Key features

Structured extraction: More than 200 fields and JSON output can support downstream hiring workflows, though teams should confirm the output structure fits their systems.
Language and document coverage: Automatic language detection across 40+ languages and support for a broad set of document formats help accommodate diverse applicant submissions.
Bias redaction: Redacting potentially biased information from 57+ fields may support more consistent screening workflows, but it does not by itself determine how an employer evaluates candidates.
Processing options: Batch processing and OCR support are available, alongside use cases such as duplicate checks and search indexing.

Pricing

The Free credits plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes 100 credits, all products, features, and plugins, 40+ language resume parsing, and 24x7 support. It is a useful way to start, but the 100-credit allocation is a small allowance for sustained or high-volume processing.

Standard Plan (Monthly) is 75.00 USD per month, billed Monthly, while Standard Plan (Quarterly) is 75.00 USD per month, billed Quarterly. Both require Select credits and include Parse, Search, and Index Documents with 24x7 customer support. Standard Plan (Annually) is 75.00 USD per year, billed Annually, with the same credit requirement and features. That annual term is markedly different from the monthly price cadence, so buyers should confirm which billing option and credit quantity apply to their expected usage.

The Incubator Program costs 150.00 USD per once, is valid for 3 months, and includes 3,000 credits for the Resume/Job Parser, Search & Match Engine, and Taxonomy. After the startup plan expires, it renews at $75 monthly for 500 credits. It offers a larger initial credit pool, but the renewal term matters for startups planning beyond the first three months.

Enterprise Plan has custom pricing and offers scalable cloud or on-premise models, a dedicated cloud server, the option to host the API on the customer's own server, and premium support. It is the better fit for organizations that need deployment control or dedicated infrastructure; those needing straightforward self-serve pricing should look elsewhere. The product also offers a free trial.

Platforms

DiscoverCloud Resume Parser is available as an API, web product, and self-hosted deployment. The API can be hosted on a customer's own server, while enterprise buyers can choose scalable cloud or on-premise models. That flexibility is useful for organizations with deployment requirements, though hosting choice and pricing should be resolved together.

Who it's for

Job boards, enterprises, applicant tracking systems, and staffing firms are the clearest fit, particularly when they need multilingual parsing, batch intake, or connections to HR systems. Smaller teams can begin with free credits, but the credit-based Standard plans and enterprise deployment options are more naturally suited to organizations that can define their expected processing volume and integration needs.

Pros and cons

Pro: Extraction across 200+ fields, 40+ languages, and many file formats covers varied resume intake needs.
Pro: OCR, batch processing, bias-field redaction, and indexing use cases extend beyond basic parsing.
Pro: SaaS privacy claims, a broad compliance list, and self-hosting options may suit organizations with data handling requirements.
Con: Standard plans require Select credits, so the monthly fee alone does not establish the cost of a given workload.
Con: The Free credits plan's 100-credit allowance is limited for ongoing use, and the Incubator renewal changes to $75 monthly after three months.
Con: Enterprise deployment flexibility comes with custom pricing rather than a fixed entry point.

Verdict

DiscoverCloud Resume Parser is a strong candidate for hiring platforms and employers that need broad multilingual extraction, batch and OCR support, and flexible hosting. Its main case is the combination of extensive field coverage and hiring-specific workflows; its main drawback is that credit requirements and billing terms need careful confirmation before the advertised price can be compared with expected use.
