Overview

snapADDY BusinessCards is a digital business card and paper-card scanner that can pass captured contacts to a CRM. It suits individuals and sales teams that need both ways to exchange contact details; its main trade-off is that frequent scanning and export require a paid plan.

Sharing is flexible: recipients can open a card from a QR code or Apple or Google Wallet without installing the app. Cards can carry personal and company branding, while the scanner handles bulk capture and more than 45 languages from over 100 countries. Together, those features make the product more useful for event-driven contact workflows than a digital card alone.

Key features

Digital cards support a profile picture, company details, corporate colors, a logo, a background image, and personalized links. This gives teams room to align cards with their identity, although FREE includes only a personal card.

For paper cards, batch scanning reduces the friction of capturing a stack after a meeting or event. Paid plans add unlimited scanning, CRM and Excel export, and additional attachments. Listed CRM integrations include SAP Sales Cloud, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, and Pipedrive; an API can connect other IT systems.

The duplicate check compares CRM records field by field, so a user can update selected fields or merge records instead of treating every possible match as an all-or-nothing choice. The maker says customer data is stored and processed on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany, accessible only to the customer's company, and that databases and storage buckets are encrypted with AES-256. It also says it is ISO 27001 certified. Technical support is available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pricing

BusinessCards uses a freemium model, with a free trial also offered. The plan choice matters most for scan volume, export, and whether cards are managed personally or centrally.

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
FREE	Free	For individual users; up to 20 scans per day; personal digital business card.
TEAM	36.00 EUR per year	3 users; up to 20 scans per day; centralized business card management.
PRO (Single User)	60.00 EUR per year	1 user; unlimited scanning; centralized management; CRM export.
PRO (Groups)	60.00 EUR per year	1 user; unlimited scanning; personal digital card; CRM export.
ENTERPRISE	Custom pricing; billed on request	Customized quote, dedicated point of contact, premium support, and product training.

FREE is a sensible starting point for occasional individual use, but its 20-card daily cap and lack of paid export features constrain regular prospecting. TEAM is the least expensive route to centralized management for three users, yet it retains the same scan cap and does not include the listed CRM export. At 60.00 EUR per year, either PRO option removes the scan limit and adds CRM export for one user; choose Single User for centralized management or Groups for a personal card. snapADDY recommends considering Groups licensing once a team reaches ten people. Larger organizations needing training or a dedicated contact can request an ENTERPRISE quote.

Platforms

The product is available on Android, iOS, and the web; a digital card also works in a common web browser. API access provides a connection route for other systems. Support for both major mobile platforms suits teams with mixed devices, while browser access lets recipients view a shared card without an app.

Who it's for

BusinessCards is a good fit for individual professionals who want a branded digital card alongside occasional paper-card capture, and for sales teams that scan batches of cards and need CRM handoff. The field-level duplicate check is particularly useful when adding contacts to an existing CRM. It is less compelling for a team that needs frequent scanning and CRM export but expects several users on a low-cost plan: TEAM still has the daily cap and PRO prices are per user.

Pros and cons

Pros: QR and Wallet sharing works for recipients without the app, reducing friction when exchanging details.
Pros: Batch scanning and recognition across more than 45 languages support event follow-up across international contacts.
Pros: Field-level duplicate handling offers more control than simply merging or replacing an entire record.
Pros: Supported CRM integrations plus API access cover common systems and a route to other IT environments.
Cons: FREE and TEAM stop at 20 scans per day, so regular high-volume scanning requires a PRO plan.
Cons: CRM export is paid, and the two PRO plans are priced per user, which can raise costs as a team grows.
Cons: TEAM adds centralized management for three users but does not remove the free plan's scan ceiling.

Verdict

Choose snapADDY BusinessCards if you want one workflow for branded digital cards, bulk paper-card capture, and controlled CRM handoff, especially when duplicate handling matters. Look elsewhere if you need several users to scan frequently at the lowest tier: the three-user TEAM plan keeps the 20-card daily cap, while unlimited scanning and CRM export begin with per-user PRO pricing.
