Overview

CCStorage brings facility operations and tenant-facing tools together: customers can complete rentals and manage invoices online, while operators can track occupancy, collections and past-due accounts. Its support for multiple locations also suits operators running more than one facility. The trade-off is that a free software plan does not mean every part of the service is free.

Key features

Online Rentals lets customers sign up, complete agreements and pay online. That can reduce staff involvement in routine move-ins, though facilities that prefer to handle agreements and payments in person may get less value from the feature.

The tenant portal lets customers view and pay invoices, update information, enroll in auto-pay and locate their unit. Automatic SMS and email reminders can support payment follow-up, while the report center covers payments, invoices and past-due customers. These tools make the system useful for operators looking to shift account tasks to tenants and keep an eye on collections.

Site maps show vacancies, past-due tenants and other facility information, including across multiple locations. CCStorage also supports access-control integrations, with listed partners including DoorKing, SpiderDoor, OpenTech Alliance, PTI, StorGuard, Sentinel, Nokē by Janus, BID13, KISS, Lumio, Safelease, Deans & Homer, StorSuite and Storage Defender. Operators should confirm that their existing access-control setup is covered before choosing the platform.

CCStorage is web-based and mobile-friendly for online use. It advertises free email and phone support from a U.S.-based, in-house team, plus data-transfer help and a one-on-one training call during setup. Its privacy policy says it uses reasonable security measures and does not sell collected data; payment information is collected through its integrated payment facilitator.

Pricing

The CCStorage software plan is free, with no monthly fees and no contract. That makes it a low-commitment starting point for operators who want facility software without a recurring software charge. Card processing is listed at 3.99% and ACH at 1.75% as tenant costs, with FREE shown for the facility, so transaction costs remain relevant even when the software itself is free.

Optional website plans each cost 99.00 USD per month. Standard: Website + SEO includes a customized website, hosting and support; it fits operators who want those website services alongside the software. Enterprise: Multi-location Website also costs 99.00 USD per month and provides a unified website for operators managing multiple facilities. These are separate monthly services, not requirements for the free software plan.

Setup is charged once: Starter Setup Tier costs 99.00 USD and covers adding units, building a sitemap, importing customers and move-in assistance. Pro Setup Tier is 299.00 USD and adds security-deposit setup and protection plans. Pro + Card Migration Setup Tier is 499.00 USD, adding card migration to the Pro tier; an existing provider may charge a fee to release data. These tiers suit operators who want increasing amounts of migration and setup help, but add upfront costs to a free software choice.

CCStorage also gives a paid-from price of 25 /mo. Because the named software plan is free and the website plans have their own stated prices, prospective customers should clarify which service or configuration that starting figure applies to before budgeting.

Platforms

CCStorage runs on the web and describes its platform as mobile-friendly for online use. It is a fit for teams comfortable managing operations through a browser rather than requiring a listed native desktop or mobile app.

Who it's for

CCStorage is aimed at self-storage facilities of any size, including single-site operators and businesses with multiple locations. It is strongest for facilities that want online move-ins, tenant self-service, automated payment reminders and access-control integrations. Operators looking for a free software plan should still account for payment processing and decide whether paid website or setup services are worthwhile.

Pros and cons

Free software with no monthly fee or contract: a practical way for operators to adopt facility-management software without a recurring software charge.
Tenant-facing online tools: rentals, invoice payments, account updates and auto-pay can move routine tasks out of staff workflows.
Multi-location visibility: site maps and a unified website option address needs that become more important as operators add facilities.
Payment charges remain: tenant card and ACH processing fees mean the free software plan does not remove transaction costs.
Website and setup services cost extra: optional monthly website plans and one-time setup tiers can raise the total cost.

Alternatives

Self-Storage Management Software is a useful starting point for comparing products in the category.

Consider Easy Storage Solutions if Android or iOS access matters; it has no free software plan, and its software pricing varies by facility size and additional services.

Alyta is another freemium option, with Android, iOS and web platforms and a free trial. Its listed subscription is 49.99 USD per month, billed $49.99 AUD /month for 20 spaces per location, with a 10% saving for yearly payment.

Spacivity may suit a very small operation seeking a free web plan: its free tier covers one location and up to three storage units.

KeeSpaces is a paid option with a free trial and Android, iOS and web platforms.

My Rental Spot Self Storage is worth comparing for its free plan, which has no time or facility limit and includes day-to-day storage management, online move-in and e-sign lease, billing and autopay, and gate PINs.

Storage Commander is a paid alternative for readers seeking broad platform support, including self-hosted, desktop and mobile options.

Ayillo Tenant Screening is a paid, trial-offering option with Android, iOS and web access; its Core workspace costs 49.00 USD per month per workspace and includes the first five units.

Move and Store is a web-based freemium alternative with a free plan and a paid Pro plan at 29.00 GBP per month.

Verdict

CCStorage is a sensible choice for self-storage operators who want online rentals, tenant self-service and multi-location tools without a monthly software fee. Its main drawback is that processing, optional website services and setup can still add meaningful costs. Choose it for those operational tools and its free software plan; look elsewhere if you need a different platform or want to avoid the added transaction and service charges.
