Overview

The product spans CRM, quoting, purchasing, supply chain and inventory control, production tracking and scheduling, quality control, accounting, and financials. That breadth suits operations where manufacturing activity and business records need to stay connected; it is more system than a business seeking only accounting or basic stock control may need.

Cetec identifies cable and wire harness, electronics manufacturing, machine and job shops, medical device and life sciences, industrial equipment, and aerospace and defense among its industries. Its REST API and integrations with tools including QBuild CADLink, CalcuQuote, ShipStation, QuickBooks Online, and Avalara AvaTax give teams several routes for connecting related systems. The API allowance of 1,000 requests per month in the standard subscription is a meaningful ceiling for high-volume integrations.

Key features

Production and planning

Production scheduling, multi-level bills of materials, purchase planning, capacity planning, and multi-site planning support manufacturers coordinating materials, capacity, and work across locations. This integrated scope is useful when purchasing and production decisions depend on one another, rather than being managed as isolated tasks.

Hosting and security

The standard SaaS service runs on Google Cloud, with nightly server backups; the subscription also includes weekly backups. HTTPS and SSH encrypted communication, secure cloud infrastructure, and application-level access controls form the stated standard-cloud protections. Teams with regulated or restricted environments can use ITAR-compliant Microsoft Azure GovCloud hosting, or customer-managed resident and air-gapped deployments. Those choices are a notable advantage for specialized requirements, while the included 2 GB of document storage per standard user may require an add-on as records accumulate.

Trial and support

A 30-day free trial creates a cloud environment under a cetecerp.com subdomain, giving prospective users a defined period to assess the workflow. Included support is through the community forum and online resources. Direct phone and email access requires a paid support plan, a distinction that matters for teams needing timely assistance rather than self-service guidance.

Pricing

Standard user subscription

The subscription is 50.00 USD per month per user, with a 5-user minimum, so the starting subscription commitment is 250 USD per month. It includes all modules and standard reports, weekly backups, API access up to 1,000 requests per month, and 2 GB of document storage per standard user. There is no free plan; the 30-day trial offers a short evaluation before a paid commitment.

Support plans

Already Included! Support: 0.00 USD per month, included with the subscription; community forum support and online resources.
Standard Plan Support: 650.00 USD per month for priority support, up to 15 hours per month of phone support, and weekday availability from 8am–7pm EST.
Enterprise Plan Support: 3200.00 USD per month, with an initial response within 2 hours, quarterly consulting calls, a sandbox test environment, BI platform, and customization support.

The included option keeps support costs down but relies on community and online help. Standard adds a defined phone-support allowance; Enterprise is aimed at organizations that need a faster response and additional consulting and technical support. Both paid plans substantially raise the monthly cost beyond the per-user subscription.

Platforms

Cetec ERP supports API, self-hosted, and web access, with cloud deployment as its standard model. The range of cloud, customer-managed, and specialized hosting approaches can accommodate different infrastructure needs; ITAR-compliant hosting is offered through Azure GovCloud.

Who it's for

Cetec ERP is a good fit for small and mid-sized manufacturers or distributors whose work calls for coordinated production, inventory, quality, purchasing, and accounting. Its planning tools and hosting choices strengthen the case for multi-site or regulated operations. A smaller company with fewer than five users, a business that needs little beyond accounting, or a team that requires direct support but cannot justify a separate support plan should weigh alternatives.

Pros and cons

Pros: Broad manufacturing and financial coverage can keep connected workflows in one system.
Pros: Production, capacity, purchasing, and multi-site planning support more involved operations.
Pros: Azure GovCloud and customer-managed resident or air-gapped deployments address specialized hosting needs.
Cons: The five-user minimum creates a 250 USD monthly subscription floor.
Cons: Included support is community-based; direct phone access starts at 650.00 USD per month.
Cons: API use is capped at 1,000 requests per month and included document storage at 2 GB per standard user.

Verdict

Choose Cetec ERP if your manufacturing or distribution operation needs production planning, inventory, quality, and financial functions together, or requires flexible hosting for regulated work. Its broad operational scope and deployment options are the main reasons to shortlist it. Look elsewhere if the five-user minimum, API or storage allowances, or the cost of direct support do not match your scale and support expectations.
