Overview

Everee Onboarding+ combines worker onboarding with remote I-9, E-Verify, credential and document workflows. It is best suited to staffing, healthcare and field-services organizations managing distributed workers across clients, roles or locations. Its advantage is the breadth of compliance tasks in one experience; teams needing only basic onboarding may find the package broader than they need.

Everee handles W-4, 1099 and state forms, while Onboarding+ adds remote I-9 review, E-Verify, credential tracking and custom documents. WorkBright powers those compliance workflows within the product.

Key features

Remote I-9 and E-Verify

Authorized representatives can complete Section 2 identity-document review remotely and submit it into the system. E-Verify cases are created automatically as I-9s arrive, and administrators can track their statuses in one place. This is useful for teams hiring across locations, where coordinating these steps can otherwise add operational friction.

Credentials and worker documents

Workers can upload credentials such as RN, LPN, BLS, ACLS, CDL, MA and EMT qualifications, as well as custom certifications. Administrators can review submissions and track expiration dates, making the feature relevant to workforces whose roles depend on current credentials.

Administrators can create reusable templates with variable fields for worker-specific contracts, NDAs, policy acknowledgments and equipment receipts. Structured signature workflows enforce the intended signing sequence. Signed documents and verified credentials are stored with an audit trail and can be retrieved in seconds, which helps teams keep records organized across a distributed workforce.

Integration and setup

Everee lists integrations including LaborEdge, Bullhorn, ActivateStaff, NextCrew, Staffing OS, Tracker, Deputy, Fountain, Sequifi, Stakt, Timeero, Onboarded, Employee Navigator, PAI, Ease, Selerix, QuickBooks Online and VimHR. APIs, webhooks and embeddable experiences cover employee and contractor onboarding, worker data, timesheets, payroll and pay-statement access. That range may suit organizations connecting onboarding to broader workforce operations; teams with simpler workflows may not need that flexibility.

Everee says most customers are live in two weeks, with Customer Success helping configure documents, I-9 workflows and E-Verify. Everee also states that it uses industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information.

Pricing

The Standard I-9 and onboarding workflows plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed included at no additional charge. It covers standard I-9 and onboarding workflows, so it is the lower-cost fit for organizations that do not need the expanded Onboarding+ document and credential workflows.

Onboarding+ has custom pricing, billed per new hire onboarded and dependent on workforce size and document complexity. E-Verify, remote I-9, electronic signatures, an audit trail, API access and employee self-service are included. Per-new-hire billing ties cost to hiring volume, but organizations with fluctuating or high-volume hiring should weigh that structure against their onboarding needs.

Platforms

Onboarding+ is available on Android, iOS and web, with API access for connecting or embedding workflows.

Who it's for

Onboarding+ is a strong fit for staffing, healthcare and field-services operations that onboard distributed workers across multiple clients, roles or locations and need to manage eligibility checks alongside credentials and worker-specific documents. Organizations that only need standard onboarding and I-9 workflows can use the free plan; those seeking a standalone eligibility-check process may prefer a narrower product.

Pros and cons

Pros

Connected compliance workflows: Remote Section 2 review, automatic E-Verify case creation and status tracking bring related tasks together.
Credential oversight: Administrators can review worker-submitted qualifications and track expiration dates.
Reusable, sequenced documents: Variable-field templates and structured signatures support recurring worker-specific paperwork.
Free standard plan: Standard I-9 and onboarding workflows are included at no additional charge.

Cons

Onboarding+ pricing depends on hiring and document complexity: Organizations need a quote to assess its cost against their volume.
Broader than basic onboarding: Teams that do not need credential, custom-document or remote I-9 workflows may not benefit from the expanded package.

Alternatives

Employment Eligibility Verification Software is a useful place to compare eligibility-verification options. Choose EMP Trust Electronic Form I-9 if you want a paid I-9 product with a free trial and a published Standard plan at 299.00 USD per month, billed $299/month or $3,588/year; its recruiting module adds $125/mo.

OnBlick I-9 Assist may suit teams that want a free trial and a lower-cost, published entry plan: Emerging costs 50.00 USD per month for up to 2 user licenses, 10 GB storage and email support. Experian I-9 Management is another paid option, with Android, iOS and web support and pricing by quote.

Consider Symmetry I-9 for tailored pricing on payroll tax APIs and onboarding compliance software. Veridia is a paid web-based alternative. Onboarded is a paid alternative with API and web platforms.

GryphonHR may fit organizations seeking a published Basic plan at 50.00 USD per month for 1 to 100 annual new hires with unlimited users; it has a one-year term, billed monthly. i9 Intelligence offers a Starter plan at 50.00 USD per month for up to 50 I-9s per year, with unlimited users and locations, E-Verify, remote Section 2, compliance alerts and an audit trail; it may suit teams whose primary need is eligibility compliance rather than the wider Onboarding+ workflow.

Verdict

Choose Everee Onboarding+ if you manage distributed workers and want remote I-9, E-Verify, credential tracking and custom paperwork joined in one onboarding experience. The integrated workflow is its main strength; the main reason to look elsewhere is that per-new-hire custom pricing and the broader feature set may not make sense for organizations with simpler hiring needs.
