Overview

Colibri.ai brings meeting capture and post-call follow-up into one workflow: an extension captures meetings, then the service provides transcription, summaries and action items. Support for nine conferencing platforms is a practical advantage for people whose calls span different services. The single-language transcription limit makes it a poor fit for multilingual work.

Key features

Transcription and follow-up: Transcripts, summaries and action items cover the central record-and-review tasks after a meeting. This is useful for individuals who need a written account and next steps, but it does not address workflows requiring more than one transcription language.
Extension-based capture: Colibri.ai supports Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Whereby, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting, RingCentral and UberConference. That breadth helps when clients or colleagues use different services, although capture is through an extension.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes one user, five hours of transcription per month and a 40-minute maximum recording length. It is a sensible way for a light user to try the workflow, but both the monthly allowance and call-length ceiling can be restrictive.

Starter costs 20.00 USD per month for one user, with 20 transcription hours per month and a 90-minute maximum recording length. It suits an individual with regular calls who can stay within those caps. Pro costs 50.00 USD per month and Growth costs 60.00 USD per month; each starts from one user and includes unlimited transcription hours per user per month, with a four-hour maximum recording length. Those tiers remove the hour quota but not the call-length constraint. Scale costs 80.00 USD per month, starts from one user and pairs unlimited transcription hours per user per month with unlimited recording length, making it the clearest fit for users whose calls may exceed four hours.

The pricing note gives a paid entry price of $16/user/mo (annual), distinct from the monthly Starter price of 20.00 USD per month. A 30-day trial is also offered. The listed plan details are for one user or start from one user, so buyers should check the plan terms against the number of people who need access.

Platforms

Colibri.ai supports web, Windows, macOS and Linux. That range accommodates desktop users across the major operating systems, alongside browser access.

Who it's for

Colibri.ai is a good fit for individuals who want transcripts and structured follow-up from meetings held across multiple conferencing platforms, particularly when calls fit the plan's length and monthly-hour limits. It is less suitable for multilingual workflows or buyers seeking a broadly specified team plan: the listed tiers start from one user, and transcription covers one language.

Pros and cons

Pro: Transcription, summaries and action items are combined, reducing the need to handle those post-meeting tasks separately.
Pro: Extension capture spans nine named meeting platforms, useful for people whose calls are not confined to one service.
Con: One transcription language excludes multilingual meeting workflows.
Con: Free and Starter impose both monthly transcription quotas and maximum recording lengths; even Pro and Growth cap recordings at four hours.

Alternatives

For a wider choice of meeting transcription tools, browse the Meeting Transcription Software list. The AI Meeting Assistants list is another place to compare meeting-focused options, while Meeting Intelligence Software and AI Sales Call Analysis Software suit readers exploring those broader categories.

ConversationPilot is an alternative for someone seeking live coaching: its free plan allows three calls per month without live coach, while its Solo plan costs 39.00 USD per month for full live coaching and individual use. TalkPilot may suit users looking for conversation practice; its free plan includes five conversations per month of up to 30 minutes each, five practice runs and three scenarios.

Jiminny is worth considering when a buyer wants a broader platform with Android, iOS, web and extension support; its Insights Seat is 42.00 USD per month with a minimum 12-month contract. Avoma is another option for teams considering paid seats alongside free view-only seats: its Startup plan is 19.00 USD per month billed annually, with up to 25 paid seats and unlimited free view-only seats.

Amotions AI may suit someone seeking live coaching, roleplay and scorecards on a free tier with limited usage and two playbook documents or links. Rafiki AI is a paid alternative whose Starter plan is 19.00 USD per month billed annually for up to three users, with stated audio-recording and transcription-minute allowances.

Piper AI is another option to consider. WorkChi may interest teams seeking AI agents and CRM features; its Starter plan is 49.00 EUR per month and includes three AI agents and unlimited team members.

Verdict

Choose Colibri.ai if you need transcripts, summaries and action items across several meeting platforms and your calls fit its plan limits. Its strongest case is that broad capture coverage paired with useful post-meeting outputs; look elsewhere if multilingual transcription or routinely long recordings are essential.
