Overview

PIXID VMS is a vendor management system for companies coordinating temporary and extended workforces with staffing agencies and MSPs. Core is the closer fit for shared staffing transactions; Pro is aimed at broader contingent-workforce programs that also cover staff augmentation and services procurement.

Pixid was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Courbevoie, France. The maker presents VectorVMS as Pixid VMS Pro, alongside Core.

Key features

Workflows for Core and Pro

Core gives companies and staffing agencies a shared place to manage orders, timesheets, and invoices. Process automation, compliance tracking, structured talent pools, AI-assisted matching, and shared live program metrics extend that workflow. This makes Core relevant to organizations seeking to coordinate routine temporary-worker activity without widening the program into services procurement.

Pro brings requisitions, contracts, timesheets, and supplier invoices into one system of record, with support for staff augmentation, services procurement, and extended workforce management. AI-assisted candidate matching, interactive dashboards, real-time reporting, and customizable analytics are geared toward teams overseeing programs across agencies and locations. Organizations that only need basic order and time administration may find this broader scope unnecessary.

Integrations and oversight

Pro connects with HR platforms, procurement tools, and payroll systems, synchronizing records automatically. The open API can integrate with existing ATS or back-office systems, which gives organizations a route to connect their current operations rather than treating the VMS as an isolated tool. API access, supplier management, contract management, assignment tracking, spend analytics, and time and expense capture are supported.

Security and support

Pixid states that customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted in the US on dedicated, certified infrastructure for Core. Its security credentials include SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001; Pro also lists ISO 27701 and SOC 1 and SOC 2, along with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility compliance. Trust Center materials cover GDPR and ISO and SOC documentation, with access by request.

A dedicated project team, account-aware human support, and ongoing platform reconfiguration are intended to help programs adapt as they grow. Core's average deployment time is three weeks, and programs are also described as launchable within a few weeks. That is a relatively concrete starting point for buyers planning implementation, though the stated average is specific to Core.

Pricing

Both Pixid VMS Core and Pixid VMS Pro use custom pricing, with prospective customers directed to request a demo. There is no published price to compare before engaging with sales, so buyers should expect to assess the cost against program scope and deployment needs.

Core is the more focused option for companies and agencies handling orders, timesheets, and invoices. Pro is better suited to organizations and MSPs managing multi-location or multi-agency programs that need staff augmentation, services procurement, and extended workforce coverage. Neither offering publishes a self-serve tier or a price, so a smaller organization seeking a clear entry cost may prefer to compare alternatives before arranging a demo.

Platforms

PIXID VMS supports web, Android, and iOS, as well as API access. Mobile availability may suit teams needing access away from a desktop, while the API supports connections with existing ATS, HR, and back-office systems.

Who it's for

Core is a sensible choice for companies managing temporary workers alongside the staffing agencies placing them, especially when orders, time capture, and invoicing need a shared workflow. Pro is a stronger fit for companies and MSPs managing contingent workforce programs across locations and agencies, where contracts, supplier coordination, analytics, and services procurement matter. Buyers looking for a published price or a narrower, single-purpose workflow should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros

Distinct Core and Pro scopes: buyers can target shared staffing administration or broader workforce program management.
Connected operating workflows: requisitions, contracts, timesheets, invoices, and supplier processes can be brought into one system in Pro.
Integration and oversight options: API connectivity, synchronized records, reporting, and customizable analytics support organizations coordinating programs across systems and locations.
Security and accessibility credentials: stated certifications, encryption, US data residency, and accessibility compliance address important enterprise requirements.
Defined Core deployment benchmark: an average of three weeks gives Core buyers a concrete planning reference.

Cons

No upfront pricing: both plans require a demo request, making early budget comparison difficult.
Pro may exceed simpler needs: its breadth is aimed at larger or more complex contingent-workforce programs, not just basic temporary staffing administration.
Trust documentation requires a request: access to the Trust Center materials is not immediate for teams conducting an initial evaluation.

Alternatives

Contingent Workforce Management Software is a useful place to compare the category before settling on a particular VMS.

WorkMarket may suit companies engaging 10 or more independent contractors monthly that have a US entity; its pricing is custom.
Avature is another paid option available on web, Android, iOS, and via API.
Flextrack is another paid option with web and API platforms.
Pactos may suit buyers considering a transaction-volume-based quote and monthly-in-arrears billing.
FlentisPRO offers a supplier-funded model with no added financial burden for the organization, with pricing tailored to business needs.
Outerscore may suit buyers comparing pricing based on a share of managed spend or a flat annual SaaS subscription.
Ringo may appeal to healthcare organizations seeking a supplier-funded model with no capital outlay.
Bridge VMS publishes a starting rate of 0.65% of spend per month plus a $1350/month software license fee, with flexible terms and dedicated support.

Verdict

PIXID VMS is best for companies and MSPs that need staffing agencies and workforce operations coordinated through one system, with Core covering shared temporary-staffing transactions and Pro extending into staff augmentation and services procurement. Its broad workflows, integrations, and enterprise-oriented security and accessibility credentials make it a credible fit for complex programs. Look elsewhere if a published price is essential before sales contact or if the organization needs only a narrow workflow.
