Overview

PerfBee focuses on real-world website performance. Each page load reports Core Web Vitals alongside device, browser, connection speed and broken-resource URLs, giving teams context for why visitors may experience a slow or unstable page. The service is operated by Techpiks Digital Solutions and is aimed at developers and agencies.

Installation is unusually lightweight: add one asynchronous, deferred script tag. There is no SDK, npm package or configuration file, which keeps deployment practical for sites where introducing a larger observability stack would be excessive.

Key features

Real-user performance data

PerfBee tracks LCP, CLS, INP, FCP and TTFB and presents P75 values. Dashboards can segment results by page, device, browser and connection, including the pages with the greatest impact and device/browser comparisons. These views are more actionable than a single site-wide score when performance varies sharply across visitor contexts.

Diagnostics and alerts

Broken-resource detection, JavaScript error tracking, lab-versus-real-user comparisons and LCP attribution extend the service beyond basic vitals reporting. A seven-day baseline is used for alerting, with email notifications when LCP, CLS or INP deteriorates. That makes it useful for catching regressions, although the baseline window is relatively short for highly seasonal traffic.

Privacy, security and integration

The RUM script does not collect IP addresses, user IDs, cookies, names, email addresses or other personally identifiable information, and page URLs are paths by default. PerfBee states that data is protected with TLS 1.2 or later in transit, AES-256 at rest, bcrypt password hashing, vulnerability scanning and least-privilege controls. Servers are hosted in the European Union, with Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for certain sub-processors outside the EEA. Webhooks can send events such as completed scans and broken links to a specified endpoint.

Pricing

RUM is included from the $59/mo Business plan, with a 14-day trial. The Free plan is free forever and provides 500 credits per month, unlimited sites, seven-day retention and one weekly scheduled scan; RUM is not included. Starter costs 19.00 USD per month and raises the allowance to 15,000 credits, with unlimited sites and 30-day retention, but RUM is also not included. These lower tiers suit scan-focused users rather than teams specifically seeking visitor telemetry.

Business costs 59.00 USD per month and adds RUM, 50,000 credits, 60-day retention and three team members. Business+ costs 119.00 USD per month for 100,000 credits, 180-day retention, RUM and 10 team members. Enterprise uses custom pricing and includes 250,000 credits per month, unlimited sites, 365-day retention, RUM, unlimited team members, priority support and an SLA. The plan structure makes Business the practical entry point for RUM, while Business+ is aimed at larger teams that need longer history or more seats.

Platforms

PerfBee Real User Monitoring is delivered through the web.

Who it's for

Choose PerfBee if you run websites and need privacy-conscious Core Web Vitals, page-level diagnostics and baseline email alerts without adding a software development kit or package. Agencies can benefit from unlimited sites on every plan, while growing internal teams should weigh the three-member Business limit against Business+ or Enterprise. It is less suitable when RUM must be included in a no-cost or low-cost tier, since the Free and Starter plans do not include it.

Pros and cons

Pros

Minimal deployment: one deferred asynchronous script avoids an SDK, npm dependency and configuration file.
Useful segmentation: page, device, browser and connection breakdowns help identify where poor experiences originate.
Broad diagnostics: broken resources, JavaScript errors, LCP attribution and lab-versus-real-user comparisons support investigation.
Privacy-oriented collection: no IP addresses, cookies or directly identifying fields are collected by the RUM script.
EU hosting and stated controls: EU servers, encryption and least-privilege access support compliance-conscious teams.

Cons

RUM is paywalled at Business: the free and Starter tiers cannot provide the core visitor-monitoring capability.
Limited seats before Enterprise: Business includes three members and Business+ 10, which may constrain larger organizations.
Short alert baseline: seven-day comparisons may not represent seasonal or campaign-driven traffic patterns.
Web-only delivery: it does not provide a native mobile or desktop platform.

Alternatives

BugSnag is a better fit when you need broad mobile, desktop, server and self-hosted platform coverage with a freemium entry point. Choose Dynatrace Kubernetes Monitoring for Kubernetes-focused monitoring billed by pod-hour. Middleware suits teams wanting a freemium observability product with RUM sessions and synthetic checks in its free tier. Sumo Logic is an option for web teams seeking logs, metrics and traces with a free plan. WebYes Real User Monitoring is worth considering for a simpler freemium RUM route, though its free tier excludes RUM. Elastic Observability fits usage-based observability deployments. Grafana Cloud Application Observability is an alternative for teams already using Grafana Cloud's host-hour model. New Relic Kubernetes Monitoring is another choice for Kubernetes monitoring with a freemium offering.

Verdict

PerfBee is a strong choice for developers and agencies that want real-visitor Web Vitals, practical diagnostics and privacy-conscious collection with almost no setup overhead. Its main reason to look elsewhere is cost and access: meaningful RUM begins at $59 per month, and larger teams must move up for seats and retention.
