Overview

Spoki brings WhatsApp, voice, SMS, and email conversations into a shared thread, with lead qualification, conversation routing, marketing journeys, and human handoff. That cross-functional approach can help teams keep customer context together as a conversation moves between automated handling and staff. Spoki says it serves more than 4,500 businesses across over 120 countries and is an Official Meta Tech Partner with certified WhatsApp Business API access.

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in San Vito dei Normanni, Italy, Spoki is browser-based and works from desktop or mobile browsers. The company says there is no Spoki mobile app, so teams needing a dedicated native app should look elsewhere. Its privacy policy says personal data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using AES-256 or equivalent, with data hosted within the European Economic Area.

Key features

Spoki's AI assesses intent, urgency, and sentiment and can choose to answer, escalate, or wait. AI agents can automate support, marketing, sales, and lead qualification, while human handoff provides a route to staff when automation is not the right response. This is a useful combination for teams handling varied conversations, but it is not part of the Free plan.

Unlimited automations and operators are included in the listed plans. That removes a stated cap on workflow count and staff seats, but not on conversation usage: once usage exceeds three times the conversations included in a plan, Spoki requires an upgrade and bills excess usage with a surcharge. WhatsApp charges are also separate from paid plan fees and billed by Meta, so the subscription price is not the full operating cost for WhatsApp-heavy teams.

Spoki lists integrations including Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zapier, and describes both native and derived integrations. Its support documentation says users can request an API key through the platform's Integrations menu, giving teams a route to connect custom systems. Those options matter most to businesses coordinating customer conversations with commerce or CRM workflows.

Pricing

Spoki has a Free plan and three paid plans, with paid subscriptions starting at €39/mo. The free trial requires no credit card. All paid prices below are monthly; WhatsApp fees are billed separately by Meta.

Plan	Price	Included	Best fit
Free	Price not listed	Live chat, unlimited operators, unlimited automations, and ticketing. No AI, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, or payment requests.	Teams that want live chat and basic automation without the paid sales and campaign tools.
Service	39.00 EUR per month	AI customer support, unlimited operators, unlimited automations, and ticketing.	Support teams that want AI-assisted handling and ticketing.
Marketing	79.00 EUR per month	Unlimited operators and unlimited automations.	Teams choosing the marketing tier; WhatsApp charges remain separate.
Sales	119.00 EUR per month	AI sales agent, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, and payment requests.	Businesses that need the listed sales and campaign tools.

The Free plan preserves live chat, ticketing, operators, and automations, but excludes the capabilities that distinguish the paid tiers. Service is the entry point for AI support; Marketing costs more but its listed plan details emphasize operators and automations, while Sales adds explicit commerce and campaign tools. Before choosing a tier, teams with high conversation volumes should account for the upgrade threshold and surcharge as well as Meta's separate WhatsApp fees.

Platforms

Spoki supports web, Android, iOS, and API access. Mobile access is through the browser rather than a Spoki app, an important distinction for staff who expect a dedicated mobile application.

Who it's for

Spoki is a good fit for businesses that want to connect customer conversations across support, marketing, and sales, and that can make use of automation, routing, AI, or integrations. Its unlimited operators can suit teams with many staff involved in customer engagement. It is less compelling for a small operation seeking only a basic WhatsApp sender, or for a buyer who needs predictable WhatsApp costs bundled into one subscription.

Pros and cons

Broad channel and workflow coverage: WhatsApp, voice, SMS, and email sit alongside routing, lead qualification, marketing journeys, and human handoff.
Unlimited operators and automations: The listed plans do not impose a stated seat or automation cap, which supports larger teams and recurring workflows.
Useful integration paths: Named commerce, CRM, and automation integrations plus API-key access can connect Spoki to wider business systems.
Additional WhatsApp costs: Meta bills WhatsApp fees separately, and excess usage can incur a surcharge after crossing three times the plan's included conversations.
No dedicated mobile app: Mobile users access Spoki through a browser.
Free tier omits core paid tools: Free includes live chat and ticketing but no AI, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, or payment requests.

Alternatives

For a narrower WhatsApp marketing comparison, browse WhatsApp Marketing Software; for tools centered on conversational campaigns, see Conversational Marketing Software.

AiSensy is worth comparing if a freemium option with published free-tier fair-use limits for agents, tags, attributes, and segments better matches how a team expects to use the platform.

Botcadence may suit teams looking for a defined free allowance of AI reply credits and WhatsApp broadcast messages, with a stated single team member and project.

Dashly is an option to compare for mid-market teams considering AI inbound revenue agents, with pricing based on traffic volume and active leads.

Engati is an alternative for buyers seeking chatbot, live chat, and NLP support with pre-built and DIY integrations.

Gupshup may be preferable for API- and web-focused messaging, with a stated 0.001 USD per-message fee and WhatsApp fees billed at actuals.

Interakt is a comparison point for teams whose needs center on Instagram, with a Starter plan described around Instagram messaging.

Intercom is worth considering for teams prioritizing a shared inbox, ticketing, and Fin AI Agent on a per-seat plan.

Landbot may fit teams that want a web-based free tier capped at 100 chats per month and one seat, or a Starter tier with 500 chats per month.

Verdict

Choose Spoki if your business needs customer conversations, automation, and human support coordinated across several channels, especially when AI support or sales workflows and integrations matter. Its combination of unlimited operators and automations is a strong foundation for cross-functional teams. Look elsewhere if you need a native mobile app, a simple campaign sender, or a single predictable price that includes WhatsApp fees and avoids usage surcharges.
