Overview

Dalia is a web-based candidate conversion platform connecting career sites, applications, and recruiting systems. It is best suited to employers hiring at volume, managing application fraud, or seeking a branded candidate journey. Its strongest draw is free access to Apply and Connect; teams needing a broader device footprint should look elsewhere.

Key features

Application experience

Dalia Apply provides a customizable application flow on an employer’s career site and integrates with its ATS. Quick apply, autofill, real-time error checks, and the option to skip ATS logins target common sources of candidate friction. Verification is designed to block bots and AI auto-applies, a useful safeguard for teams facing fraudulent submissions, though it does not replace candidate assessment. Apply also captures application-source attribution in the ATS when tracking parameters break or disappear, helping preserve channel context.

Candidate outreach and controls

Dalia Convert sends intent-based job notifications by text and email, adjusting frequency to candidate engagement. Employers can limit application volume by role, location, or department and pause outreach once a role has enough applicants. These controls are practical for high-volume teams that need to balance reach against recruiter capacity. Engagement can also enrich CRM profiles with candidate preferences, availability, job interests, and response patterns.

Career-site and support tools

Dalia includes career-site connection, personalization, a career-site builder, a talent community, campaign automation, and email and SMS campaigns. Candidate support is available 24/7 through AI-powered, human-assisted voice, text, and email. Its Trust Center identifies SOC 2 compliance and describes its security posture and controls.

Pricing

Dalia uses a freemium model. Dalia Apply is free and is fully customizable and integrated with an ATS. Dalia Connect also is free and provides career-site connection, security, and personalization. These free products give teams a way to start with application conversion or career-site connection without a listed charge; the stated plan details do not establish paid tiers or usage caps.

Platforms

Dalia is available on the web. That fits teams working through a browser-based recruiting workflow, but it is a limitation for organizations that require native mobile or desktop applications.

Who it's for

Dalia Apply is aimed at high-volume hourly hiring, employers dealing with application fraud, and brand-driven teams. Convert’s volume controls and engagement-based messaging also suit recruiting groups managing outreach across multiple roles or locations. Employers looking primarily for recruitment campaign analytics rather than application and candidate conversion may prefer a more focused alternative.

Pros and cons

Pro: Apply combines ATS integration, customizable forms, and friction-reducing application options, addressing drop-off without abandoning existing recruiting systems.
Pro: Fraud verification and source attribution address submission quality and campaign tracking, two concerns that can weaken hiring decisions and channel reporting.
Pro: Convert’s engagement-based messaging and volume controls give teams ways to tune outreach and pause it when applicant demand is met.
Con: Web is the only supported platform, so teams seeking native mobile or desktop software will need another option.

Verdict

Dalia is a strong fit for employers that want to improve the application path and coordinate candidate outreach without paying for its Apply and Connect products. Its combination of ATS-connected applications, fraud checks, source attribution, and volume-aware messaging is the main reason to choose it. Look elsewhere if native apps are essential or if recruitment campaign analytics are your primary need.
