Overview

Easyship brings more than 550 courier services into one account and advertises discounts of up to 91% off retail prices. It supports shipments from more than 50 origin countries to more than 200 destinations, making it a strong fit for merchants with cross-border needs. The discount is a stated maximum, not a promise for every shipment.

Orders can sync from connected stores, with individual or bulk label creation, branded tracking, delivery updates and customs documents in the same workflow. Easyship supports rate shopping, label printing, shipment tracking and shipping automation, but does not offer a returns portal. It is headquartered in New York and Hong Kong.

Key features

Carrier choice and order workflow

Comparing rates across a large courier network can reduce the effort of choosing a service for each order. Smart courier selection and smart box selection are included on the free plan, while paid plans add capabilities for checkout rates, return labels and multi-box shipping. Merchants that need to process returns through a customer-facing portal will need another tool or workflow.

Integrations and API

Native integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, WIX, Squarespace, eBay, Amazon and TikTok Shop, along with more than 55 other eCommerce and marketplace platforms. That breadth makes Easyship a practical option for stores selling through multiple channels. Its Open Shipping API covers multi-carrier rates, domestic and international address validation, HS codes, tax and duty calculation, and third-party tracking.

Advanced API usage on the free plan is pay-as-you-go. Paid plans include monthly successful-call allocations and charge for overages per call without blocking access. This avoids an abrupt service cutoff, but API-heavy businesses should account for usage beyond the included calls.

International shipping and restrictions

Import tax and duty calculation is available on the free plan, and higher plans can display tax and duty at checkout. Easyship prohibits items including alcohol, ammunition, firearms, tobacco, prescription pharmaceuticals, explosives, flammable or hazardous products, and counterfeit goods. Merchants handling regulated or restricted inventory should check whether their products can be shipped before adopting the platform.

Easyship states that its platform has 99.99% uptime. It describes its shipping analytics infrastructure as SOC 2 and GDPR compliant, with 99.9% uptime. It advertises 24/7 global support for integrations, while 24/7 phone support is reserved for Premier.

Pricing

Easyship uses a freemium model with a free plan and a 14-day trial. The plans are structured around shipment volume for merchants and API call quotas for developers, so the right tier depends on the work being done as well as order count.

Free: Free forever. It supports less than 50 shipments/month and includes discounted shipping rates, intelligent courier selection, import tax and duty calculation, and smart box selection. It is a sensible starting point for small shippers, but its shipment threshold and pay-as-you-go advanced API billing limit its appeal for growing operations.
Plus: 29.00 USD per month, billed from $29/month, with annual billing saving 20%. For 50–500 shipments/month, it adds shipping rates at checkout, linking a merchant’s own courier account, automatic order sync and live chat support. It is the more relevant tier for stores that want checkout rates and order sync without Premier’s larger volume range.
Premier: 69.00 USD per month, billed from $69/month, with annual billing saving 20%. It covers 500–2,500 shipments/month and adds display of tax and duty at checkout, pre-generated return labels, multi-box shipping and 24/7 phone support. It fits higher-volume sellers who need these shipping and support capabilities; the return-label feature is not a returns portal.
Scale 1: 99.00 USD per month, billed from $99/month. It includes 20,000 Rates API calls, 1,250 non-US and 1,250 US address-validation calls, and 1,000 off-platform tracking calls.
Scale 2: 149.00 USD per month, billed from $149/month. It includes 30,000 Rates API calls, 1,875 non-US and 1,875 US address-validation calls, and 1,500 off-platform tracking calls.
Scale 3: 199.00 USD per month, billed from $199/month. It includes 40,000 Rates API calls, 2,500 non-US and 2,500 US address-validation calls, and 2,000 off-platform tracking calls. These three tiers are aimed at API workloads, with larger included quotas at higher prices; overages are charged per call.
Enterprise: Custom pricing for a custom high-volume solution, dedicated support, alternative SLAs and specialized features. It is the option for businesses that need a tailored arrangement rather than a fixed public tier.

Platforms

Easyship is available on web, Android and iOS, and is also offered through its API. That gives merchants browser and mobile access alongside an integration route for custom shipping workflows.

Who it's for

Easyship is best suited to eCommerce merchants that ship consistently, sell through several marketplaces or need international delivery and customs support. The free plan can work for smaller volumes, while Plus and Premier separate mid-volume store operations from businesses needing checkout tax and duty, multi-box shipping or phone support. API Scale plans suit teams whose primary need is integrating rates, validation or tracking into their own systems.

It is a weaker choice for sellers who need a returns portal, regularly ship prohibited goods, or want a simple fixed-cost API arrangement without monitoring call overages. The volume bands also mean a merchant should compare its expected monthly shipments with plan thresholds before committing.

Pros and cons

Pro: A network of more than 550 courier services and coverage across more than 50 origin countries and 200 destinations support broad domestic and international shipping choices.
Pro: Order sync, bulk labels, tracking, delivery updates and customs documents bring several shipping tasks into one workflow.
Pro: The free plan includes courier selection, discounted rates, duty calculation and smart box selection, giving smaller shippers a meaningful starting tier.
Pro: API plans provide progressively larger call allocations, and overages do not block access.
Con: Shipment tiers have defined monthly ranges, so growing stores need to watch their volume as they move beyond a plan’s threshold.
Con: The service prohibits a range of goods, including hazardous products, firearms and prescription pharmaceuticals, which rules it out for some product categories.
Con: There is no returns portal, even though Premier includes pre-generated return labels.
Con: Advanced API usage on Free is pay-as-you-go, and paid API plans charge for calls beyond their included allocations.

Alternatives

Consider Veeqo if its free Shipping plan’s unlimited orders, users, products and SKUs, warehouses and locations better match the scale of your operation. Choose Ordoro if its Essential plan’s 100 orders per month, one sales channel, one ship-from location and one user suit a smaller, tightly scoped workflow; its Advanced plan is 59.00 USD per month.

Sendcloud may suit a low-volume operation that can stay within its free tier of up to 20 parcels/month with no subscription fee or courier contract required. Shippo is worth comparing for a simpler label-focused start: its free Starter (App) plan allows up to 30 labels/month and one user, with unlimited store connections.

TrackingMore is an alternative for teams focused on shipment tracking. ShippingEasy offers a free Starter plan for up to 25 shipments per month and up to three stores or marketplaces, which may fit a small multi-store seller.

17TRACK Business is another option to compare for tracking workflows. NimbusPost is an alternative shipping platform.

Verdict

Easyship is a strong choice for eCommerce businesses that need multi-carrier shipping, international reach and integrated order-to-label workflows, with a free entry point and higher tiers for growing volumes or API use. Its main trade-offs are shipment and API usage limits, prohibited product categories and the absence of a returns portal. Choose it when carrier choice and cross-border operations matter; look elsewhere if returns management or unrestricted product shipping is central to your workflow.
