Overview

The platform brings more than 50 design tools together, from logos and business cards to websites and presentations. That range can help a new business assemble launch materials without moving between services. But breadth does not mean a subscription unlocks every logo: unlimited edits and variations apply to one logo, while choosing another library design requires an additional subscription.

Key features

The logo generator uses a business name or prompt and keywords to produce options users can filter and customize. A selection of logos is available to download free, including vector PDF, EPS and SVG files as well as JPG and PNG. Logo downloads also include those formats, and animated logos can be exported as MP4 or GIF. Transparent exports and commercial use rights are supported. The limitation is that font files cannot be downloaded, and the standard license is non-exclusive, so another customer may purchase and use the same design. That is a poor fit for businesses that require exclusive rights or downloadable font files.

Beyond logos, the toolset includes website, business card, flyer, poster, link-in-bio, presentation, background-removal and business or domain name tools. A brand kit supports a consistent look across materials. The website builder includes templates, brand colors and logo, contact forms, online payments, hosting and custom-domain connection; it can also link to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. This is useful for businesses that want launch assets and a basic site in one platform, although the one-logo subscription scope remains important when choosing designs.

Pricing

Design.com has a free plan and paid plans. Its pricing note says paid access starts at $3/mo (annual), while the named paid plans are shown at monthly billing rates.

Free: Free, billed $0 monthly. It includes AI logo generation, full customization, a brand kit, high-resolution PNG and JPG downloads, EPS, SVG and PDF vector files, and commercial use rights. This is a substantial starting point for someone who needs a selected logo and export files without paying, but free access is limited to a selection of logos.
Starter: 9.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It adds access to 50+ design tools and 630,000+ templates, making it the entry paid option for users who want a wider set of design materials.
Value: 14.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It includes everything in Starter plus the website builder, so it is the relevant step up for a business that wants to build a site within the same service.
Premium: 19.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It adds link-in-bio tools and digital business cards to everything in Value, for users who need those formats alongside a website and other design tools.

The paid tiers add tools, templates and website capabilities, but do not change the one-logo subscription scope: using a different library logo calls for another subscription. The standard non-exclusive license also applies to the central logo decision, so businesses seeking exclusive design rights should look elsewhere.

Platforms

Design.com runs on the web. Its website builder supports hosting and custom-domain connection, but the platform itself is listed for web use.

Who it's for

Design.com is a practical match for startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses putting together a logo, marketing materials and a website. The free exports make it possible to start without a paid plan, while Value and Premium make more sense when a site or extra digital formats are part of the need. It is less suitable when a business needs exclusive logo rights, downloadable font files, or several distinct library logos under one subscription.

Pros and cons

Pros: Selected logos can be downloaded free in vector and raster formats, giving new businesses usable files without an initial subscription.
Pros: More than 50 tools, a brand kit and website builder consolidate common brand, print and web work in one service.
Cons: A subscription covers only one logo; another library logo requires an additional subscription, limiting flexibility for users comparing multiple designs.
Cons: The standard logo license is non-exclusive, so other customers may use the same design, and font files are not downloadable.

Alternatives

For readers comparing logo makers, the AI Logo Makers list is a useful starting point; Logo Design Software covers the broader design-software category. For print-focused work, browse Print Design Template Libraries, Poster Maker Software or Poster Design Software; podcast artwork has its own Podcast Cover Maker Software list.

Zoviz may suit readers who want a brand subscription with monthly AI credits and cloud storage, while Wix Logo Maker offers a free plan with monthly AI credits and a stated annual Basic plan. Clearly Logo Maker is another freemium option for web and macOS. BrandCrowd Logo Maker is worth considering for free editing and downloads of selected logos, with a $9.00 USD per month Starter plan for unlimited logo edits and commercial downloads. Logify is an iOS option with gem purchases and subscriptions. Logo Diffusion has a free tier, but its stated downloads are watermarked and it does not include commercial rights. LOGO.com has a free plan for one logo with PNG downloads, while SologoAI offers a free allowance of 10 one-time Sologo credits for new accounts.

Verdict

Choose Design.com if you are launching a business and want free logo exports plus a broad set of brand and website tools in one web platform. Its strongest advantage is the range of assets around logo creation; its clearest reason to look elsewhere is the one-logo subscription combined with a non-exclusive standard license.
