Overview

The platform processes aggregate and forensic DMARC reports to show authentication results and the sources sending mail for a domain. Continuous SPF, DKIM, and DMARC monitoring can surface record changes, failures, and other issues. Alerts for falling authentication rates, unauthorized senders, or DNS changes can arrive by email, webhook, or Slack.

Forensic analysis adds message-level detail: sender IP, header information, authentication failures, and receiver disposition. This is useful when aggregate data shows a problem but an administrator needs to trace it to specific mail. Teams can use the service to progress DMARC policies toward quarantine or reject, where visibility into authentication problems matters during enforcement.

AI analysis, a REST API, and MCP integration for compatible tools such as Claude and ChatGPT support automated or assisted workflows. API and MCP access vary by plan. The service is in scope for DuoCircle’s SOC 2 Type II examination, has a CSA STAR Level 1 registry entry, and states that it undergoes annual third-party penetration testing. DMARC data is stored in AWS eu-central-1 in Frankfurt, with no storage or replication outside the EU.

Key features

Reporting and domain management

Core includes aggregate reports, while Guard adds failure reports and Defender expands failure-reporting capabilities. Shield and above add API and MCP access, with advanced API access reserved for Defender. That makes Core a reasonable place to establish visibility on one domain; teams investigating individual failures or integrating reporting into operational tools will need a paid tier.

MSPs get a multi-tenant portal with white-label reports, role-based access, and bulk domain onboarding. Those features speak directly to managing multiple clients, though the entry plans still impose domain and message caps. Paid plans have no per-domain fees, which can help as an account grows within its plan’s overall limits.

Free DNS tools

DMARC, SPF, DKIM, BIMI, and MTA-STS checkers are available without signup. They offer a quick way to inspect records without committing to an account; ongoing monitoring and reporting are the reason to use the platform itself.

Pricing

DMARC Report uses a freemium model, with a 30-day trial and paid plans starting at $25/mo. The paid monthly prices below are paired with monthly message quotas, domain counts, and data-history limits, so buyers should match all three to their sending volume and investigation needs.

Plan	Price	Included capacity and features
Core	Free	10,000 messages/month, 1 domain, subdomains, 30 days of history, aggregate reports.
Guard	25.00 USD per month	250,000 messages/month, 5 domains, 6 months of history, aggregate and failure reports, email vendor ID, group and permission management.
Shield	75.00 USD per month	1,000,000 messages/month, 10 domains, 1 year of history, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT, API and MCP access, email support and alerts.
Defender	200.00 USD per month	3,000,000 messages/month, 25 domains, advanced API access, MCP access, advanced failure reports, advanced support.
Ultimate	3900.00 USD per contact	Unlimited domains, 3 years of history, done-with-you enforcement, a dedicated DMARC engineer, and a 90-day p=quarantine pct=100 guarantee.

Core is genuinely usable for a low-volume single domain, but 10,000 monthly messages and 30 days of history leave little room for large senders or retrospective investigation. Guard is the first step up for teams that need failure reports, six months of history, or shared permissions. Shield fits organizations that need more volume and API/MCP access, while Defender is aimed at larger programs that need advanced reporting and support. Ultimate is for organizations seeking guided enforcement across unlimited domains; its listed $3900.00 per contact price and dedicated engineering make it a substantial commitment.

Platforms

DMARC Report is available on the web and through an API. The API is a listed platform, while access to API and MCP capabilities depends on plan.

Who it's for

This is a strong fit for IT and email teams responsible for DMARC enforcement across several domains, especially when they need forensic detail or alerts routed into existing workflows. MSPs have a clearer case: multi-tenancy, white-label reports, role-based access, and bulk onboarding are built for client operations. A small organization with one low-volume domain can start on Core, but teams that need longer history or more than aggregate reporting should budget for Guard or above.

Pros and cons

Useful enforcement visibility: continuous SPF, DKIM, and DMARC monitoring pairs with alerts and forensic details that can help trace authentication failures.
MSP-oriented controls: multi-tenancy, white-label reporting, permissions, and bulk onboarding support client management.
Clear growth path: plans increase message capacity, domains, and history, with no per-domain fees on paid tiers.
Constrained free tier: one domain, 10,000 monthly messages, and 30 days of history limit Core to modest monitoring needs.
Advanced capabilities cost more: API/MCP access starts at Shield, advanced API and support are in Defender, and guided enforcement sits at the $3900.00 per contact Ultimate tier.

Alternatives

Consider EasyDMARC if its free tier’s 1,000 monthly emails, one domain, and 14 days of history suit your needs, or if its DMARC Plus plan matches your requirements. Suped is another option for a single domain: its free plan allows 1,000 emails per month, 14 days of retention, and unlimited users, while its Business plan is priced at 19.00 USD per month.

Postmark is worth considering for a different email-focused requirement, with a free plan that permits 100 emails per month, has no overages, and never expires. GlockApps may suit readers who want spam-test credits alongside DMARC monitoring; its free plan includes two spam test credits and 10,000 DMARC messages, with unlimited DMARC domains.

dmarcian offers a Basic plan at 19.99 USD per year for up to two active domains, one user, 100,000 DMARC-capable messages per month, and three months of history. Fraudmarc is an alternative with an open-source Community Edition DMARC Analyzer. Folderly has free options for inbox insight tests and real-time alerts. TrueSend is another freemium email platform, with a free plan that allows 6,000 emails per month and two sending domains.

Verdict

Choose DMARC Report if you manage DMARC across multiple domains, need forensic failure context, or run client accounts as an MSP. Its combination of monitoring, alert routing, and client-management controls is the central draw. Look elsewhere if a low-cost single-domain plan is your priority or if the per-message caps and tiered access to API features do not fit your operation.
